We stayed in Merida for 1 night and chose this Hotel as it had an attractive price for a quick stop during our Spanish road trip. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we had a quiet night sleep. Staff were helpful and nice. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as it seemed a bit over priced.... More

We stayed one day to see the beatiful town and this is a good place to start the visit because its 500m from the ruins and near the main streets. You have a car park and a garden with a swimmingpool. The rooms are ok with good bathrooms and good bed. The breakfast is ok . You can walk to... More

This is a good basic hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful but not that friendly. Its a little bit out from the town also. The old town is nice here and there are plenty of shops. The highlight for me was the Serrano and Iberico Hams produced locally. These were better than any I have had... More

The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Similarly the restaurant staff were friendly, we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel and also sampled the daily menu both excellent value. A short walk away the Roman amphitheatre is a must see sight. Other historic sites are also within reasonable walking distance of the hotel. The hotel pool has sun loungers in... More

The hotel is located outside the old quarter, but within a walking distance from it. Rooms are spacious and clean, but perhaps a bit outdated. Beds are comfortable and the area is quiet so sleep quality is good. The pool area is a big plus for those travelling in summer, especially when coming with children. Service is also very good... Just had two days at this hotel with a group trip. The bedroom facilities were very good lovely clean beds and soft mattresses, the bathroom facilities were excellent and very clean. Evening meal was awful considering this is a 4 star Hotel, and could not use the dining room until 8.45 p.m. no choice at all, everyone in our party... More

We recently stayed at this allegedly 4 star hotel on a group trip. The first room we were shown smelt bad, the second one not so bad. The evening meal was the worst we have eaten - in fact we couldn't eat it, it was AWFUL!!! A complaint to the hotel received the response that everything was perfect - well,... More

Located not far from the town center, this is a recent hotel with good comfort and a small but nice swimming pool (essential given the high summer temperature of Merida). Clean and spacious room with air conditioning, comfortable bed, satisfying breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful but most of them only speak Spanish. The open-air parking area is wide,... The Velada Merida is well situated, within a 15 minute walk to everything including the Roman Theatre. It's clean, comfortable and nothing special ...certainly not 4 Star material. The room was clean, and a little cramped. They charge for parking, but you can park free on the street. We stayed for two nights and inquired about laundry services in town.... More
