As always my rating is based on what I got for my money, so don't expect a five star hotel. However on this occasion you can expect a good quality hotel with comfortable beds and air conditioning for a very reasonable price. Soaps, shampoos and shower gel were provided daily which is great if like us your travelling light. Hotel... More

Arrived at this hotel approx 17.45, after travelling many miles on motorbike tour. dropped our bags in the rooms & headed down to the pool for a dip. Receptionist informed us that pool was closed. We asked why it was closed, she said it didn't open until June! We asked to see the Manager, whom she said wasn't available. We... More

Old hotel, bit of a depressing room. The receptionist was very cheerful though. The size of the room was originally good, but for some reason, a third bed, which we did not request for, was put in it, leaving very little room for us to walk about. Location wise, it is a couple of kilometers out of town. Free parking... More

I wanted to give this hotel a higher rating, but unfortunately the previous reviewers were pretty accurate as to the dated furnishings and rooms. However, we stayed here to spend our time in Merida viewing the museum and ruins, so only spent time to sleep in our room. So, for a few nights, and with a very reasonable rate, especially... More

This hotel is typical for a spanish 3 star hotel, it looks nice from the front and the reception area but on closer inspection you can see that money needs to be spent to bring it up to standard. The rooms are of a good size and have all the facilities that are needed. The bar is well stocked and... More

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend, it's needs serious updating. The tired furniture in the public rooms and the bedrooms might have passed 30 years ago but now are positively dated. The first room they put us in stank of cigarette smoke even though it is prohibited in public rooms and the second room they offered wasnt much better.The... More

Having read some of the reviews for Las Lomas we were just a little apprehensive as to what we would find. We were staying just two nights on our way to Lisbon. Other reviewers are quite right when they say this hotel needs a refurbish..the chairs in the lobby looked a little tired and the carpets are probably the originals... More

We wanted to stay in Merida but did not Bother with a reservation in late October. The price of 60 euros was probably appropriate. It appears to be a convention type hotel. Very busy at lunch time when we checked in, but not so much in the evening. We sat outside for awhile and drank our wine without anyone bothering... More

We spent one night at this hotel. We liked the dining room location near the pool with fountains. The hotel facility was adequate, but could use freshening. There is a pleasing view of the surrounding area; the hotel is on a hilltop.
