I had a lovely visit here. I was alone and arrived by bus at 2am but my husband managed to talk to staff and explain this to them to set up a taxi and make sure the door was open. The room was small but Ok (true that as someone has remarked they could do with better lighting.) I would... More

No problem finding this hotel with our GPS device which was good. They showed us where to park in a garage around the corner and we paid the hotel the 9 euros for the one-night parking. Room, although rather dark and small and on the first floor right behind the lobby office (where they put guests with pets), was pleasantly... More

Location was good; basic facilities but OK for the price. The room size was reasonable but the lighting was a bit underdone. Internet access was good. Our room was on the ground floor next to the road but double gazed so traffic noise was not a problem. There was occasional noise from the reception area but not enough to be... More

We stayed two nights here. The location is great--just two blocks from the train station. The man at reception gave us a good demo of how to use the key card--the only minor problem was carrying our luggage up the steep stairs, as there are no lifts. The lobby and hallways are beautifully decorated with Moorish tapestries and furnishings, as... More

This was a spontaneous stay in this hotel. It was clean and tidy, the service that was given from the staff was excellent. The location of the hotel is perhaps one of the strong points of the hotel. It is directly opposite the Bassilica. The decor was modern and up to date, at 42 Euros a night, not too bad.... More

Merida is a small town, but it's full of great historical sites, mainly dating back to the ancient Romans, This hostel is at walking distance from all of them, which is the main reason why we chose it. In addition, it has been recently renovated, so the rooms are very clean. We asked at the reception for the usual things... More

I have stayed in many hostels across the world and this one is by far the best - it is more like a better end budget hotel. The rooms are clean, bright and airy with modern bathrooms, the beds are comfortable, it is an easy walk form the bus station, close to the town centre and had excellent wifi...I cannot... More

This place was newly renovated and very clean, my room had a new flat screen tv and new furniture but as the city of Merida is famous for it's roman ruins the city itself is nothing special. La Flor de Al-Andalus is located on a street with all modern and office looking buildings, in a word, boring. However about 300... More

We stayed here on Saturday, 27th October and were amazed at this place. It has a good location, in walking distance of the town's center and attractions. The owners have thought of every detail a traveler needs: welcome reception, efficient service, lovely decorated public areas and bedrooms. With comfortable beds, a hairdryer in the bathroom, colour television, safety box and... More
