We have just returned from our stay at the Hotel Chancilleria, after a wider tour of Andulucia. The hotel was beautiful with a pretty shaded walled garden that was very peaceful and serene, where we enjoyed dinner and a leisurley breakfast. Our room was large, light and airy, with Morrocan overtones. Each room also had it's own outdoor seating on... more

Best way to get there from the airport is taxi, about 20 Euro; Hotel is located in the old part of the City and you can easily walk to most of the sites: Bodegas, Dancing Horses, Flamenco Dancing, the Bull Ring,, Alcazar, Restaurants, and Shopping. You can walk to the train station( but it is a little far) It is... more

Nothing was too much effort for the staff at this super hotel. They collected us from the airport. Our son had mentioned to them that I was celebrating my birthday and they presented us with champague on arrival [ without us reguesting it ] The evening gourmet meal was delicious and could not be faulted . The rooms and ,... more

This small hotel is conveniently located for the the center of Jerez. The hotel was difficult to find first time - but the hotel helped us navigate over the phone - and once we'd found it, it was easy. Parking is a real problem - we had to park quite a long way from the hotel on our 2nd night... more

I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and family, and would definitely stay here again. It is a small, clean, professionally run hotel which is very welcoming and friendly. Tucked in amongst the narrow streets of the historic old quarter of Jerez it is very centrally located and ideal for strolling to the nearby cafes, bars, restaurants and theatres. more

My son and I stayed two weeks at this lovely hotel in the heart of the Flamenco district in Jerez. We had never been to this part of Spain before and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The hotel owners could not have been more friendly or welcoming and helped us to make the most of our time in the... more

It makes a big difference when the place you stay at becomes such a large part of your visit. I read the reviews for this hotel and the fact that it was designed around an eco-ideology in the middle of the historical old-town appealed to me immensely. I was not disappointed - far from it. The owners - Antonio and... more

Booked this hotel, because the many good reviews here. We were not disappointed. The room was light and bright, stone floor and furniture from the big Swedish company we all know. The hotel itself was full with african art and other arty stuff. There were seats outside every room in the open air corridors for those who wants to smoke... more

Have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels in Jerez but this is by far the best, completely non smoking which in Jerez is unusual. we ate out at several restaurants which had no smoking signs but customers and staff were blantantly smoking, not nice when you are eating. The Sabore restaurant in the hotel was excellent Miguel the perfect... more

The Chancilleria Hotel was recommended to me by the estate agents while I was looking at properties in Jerez. I am a frequent traveller and have stayed in lots of hotels in my time and it is always nice when you find a real gem. And the Hotel Chancilleria is just that. It is located in the historic old town... more
