What a great pity that this lovely hotel has closed! After seven years of hard work, resulting in a hotel continually at the top of the game and a restaurant offering something unique and exciting in Jerez, the owners were making some financial progress. And now, the bank pulls the plug! A great loss to the tourist industry in Jerez... More

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, nice decor with inside and outside spaces, great hospitality and service, and lovely restaurant onsite all made our stay at Hotel Chancilleria in the beautiful town of Jerez de la Frontera one of our nicest and most enjoyable during our trip around Andalucia. Joana's welcome with a drink in the garden made us feel at... More

This was our second visit to this hotel on a trip to the Flamenco Festival. As before the staff were really helpful, in particular Alejandro who works extremely hard and seems to be available at all hours to keep everything running smoothly. We ate a few times in the restaurant ,the food is delicious, and served by very attentive, friendly... More

My partner and I stayed here for a night in early December and I can honestly say it was a great experience. The owners Joanna and Antonio were superb hosts and Alejandro on the reception could not do enough for us. We had a meal in the restaurant belonging to the hotel and enjoyed every morsel. To top off our... More

My husband and I have come to live in Andalucia but were new to Jerez de la Frontera. We had heard about Hotel Chancilleria in a number of guidebooks so went in search of it and were glad we did. We were so impressed with the care taken in setting up the hotel from a comfortable room, to welcome drink,... More

Excellent little place with (I think) the only and the most wonderful terrace bar in Jerez! Sipping on some great sherry with sliced oranges in it, chit chatting with the very friendly Antonio, with music in the background is how we spent most of our sunny afternoons in Jerez. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with wifi access. The... More

Happened to decide to stay in Jerez, so stopped in a bar for sherry, did the search on Tripadvisor.... A super hotel...went out to sample Fiesta de la Asuncion, came back for a 3 course meal in the relaxing garden setting: tea-lights, fake stork, quaint furniture....all reminiscent of Tuscany or even Fete du Raisin in France, so super-duper-nice. Our room... More
