We LOVED this hotel. It is very clean, central and just beautiful. The room we had was large and absolutely 'spot on'. You can park on site. The restaurant is very good. We ate dinner and breakfast here. The price is so good for the quality. Free wifi was also good.

Jerez is charming and the Hotel Garvey – once the town “palace” for the Garvey family of the sherry distillery fortune – is conveniently located near the town center, and is an exceptional value. The family mansion has been converted to a boutique hotel and the architecture and décor are gorgeous. We selected the Junior Suite on the third floor... More

All sorts of cute surprises and details greets your throughout. The furtniture has been carefully chosen eg a stand in the hallway of your room is convenitently placed to hold your car key etc. There was even an interdentental floss pin provided in the toiletries in the huge toilet. The shower itself has several shower heads and numerous settings. The... More

Stayed one night for a great price and was not only surprised by the high quality and standard of the room and its installations but also from the excellent food in the restaurant. Although I just had some snacks for dinner and simple breakfast included in the room rate, the taste, presentation and quality was excellent as was the service.... More

This hotel is well located in the interesting city of Jerez. A little difficult to find if driving there but mentioned in most tourist maps. As the name suggests the accommodation is palatial with the suite being extremely large, large enough perhaps to even satisfy the elephants who seem to regularly complain about the size of rooms on this site.... We stayed at the Palacio Garvey for one night at the beginning of October. First of all, the staff are charming and helpful. We arrived by car at night which is a bit of a nightmare in Jerez as the signposting is not always helpful and some of the streets are very narrow. The receptionist rushed out to allow us... More

My review should take into account that it has been 7/8 years since we last visited this hotel and that Spain is going through a deep recession. As my husband said - the hotel sums up Spain - such a lot of thought, time and money has gone into the inspiration behind this hotel and little has been done to... More

I forgot to write about Palacio Garvey, I just realized now looking for new destinations. I stayed just one night at the end of August last summer but it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is a marvelous palace, located in the heart of Jerez, facing a square that is ideal to have some tapas and drinking a glass... More
