Beautiful airy building with modern artworks scattered about. (We loved the bronze dog in the entrance hall posing mid-wee!) Room was clean, bed very comfortable and bathroom, with spa bath was spacious. Room 16 is on the second floor which was fine for us, but lift only goes as far as the first floor so bear in mind if you... More

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Palacio Garvey and would highly recommend it for its great location, helpful staff, lovely breakfast (served to table, no buffet scrum here) and gorgeous decor. Our suite was huge, palatial and very comfortable with high ceilings and three large sets of french windows opening onto the plaza below. The bed was large and... This hotel is somewhat contradictory, very good in some respects but lacking in others. First the pros. It has a great position in the centre of Jerez and is in a wonderful restored palace owned by a great 19th century sherry dynasty. Nice restoration of the entrance and grand staircase and friendly staff on hand to guide you to the... More

Old palace converted into a modern hotel was very good value for money. Very clean, quiet and the staff were kind and efficient . The dining room had a bit too much red on chairs, flowers, lights etc.but the food was well served and no complaints. ,very satisfied guest.

Our stay at Palacio Garvey was perhaps the nicest on our two-week trip. The hotel is beautiful and well-appointed, and the room was immaculate. There was a balcony right off of the room with a table and chairs and a great view. The location was also superb--a quick walk from everything. Staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our only minor... More

We had a very inexpensive room. Impressive interior with high ceilings and attractive décor. Comfortable bed. Massive bathroom. Extremely pleasant and helpful receptionists. Our room overlooked a courtyard. In the mornings it was apparent that the foliage covering the walls was occupied by a large number of birds. The volume of sound from the dawn chorus was very loud and... More

I had a memorable stay in this elegant palacio built in 1850 by the Garvey family, 19th century sherry distillers. The location is perfect -- walking distance to all of the major sites, and a taxi stand close by. The interiors are gracious and airy, and decorated with contemporary art. I stayed in room 2 -- an elegant and expansive... More

We stayed in a Junior Suite and was delightfully surprised. The room was spacious and quite modern. The hotel location was terrific, situated in the historic district, within walking distance of all the major attractions. The cost was very reasonable for the value. Wish we had another night there.

Centre of town, quiet clean room. Ok breakfast. Parking a bit of a pain, need to get staff to lower security automated bollard to pedestrian area which leads through tight streets to parking. Apart from a small patio leading to the parking there is no outside area to relax. As reflected in this review I was vastly underwhelmed by whole... More

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel last march. Old charm comfortable hotel very well situated in the historic district close to all major attractions and good restaurants. Good breakfasts every morning with eggs on demand with no extra cost and excellent service. The hotel has a large parking area at the back with extra cost. The only problem with... More
