Hotel's location is fantastic, very close from the airport. The staffs are very nice and helpful. What a pity that we only spent one night there! Has only one problem in room, the fridge's motor is very loud, it keeps me awake all the time, I cannot sleep at all! Even I have to switch off the air-condition as well....... More

A great combination of comfort and elegance in a beautiful old palace. Great staff (the most efficient yet friendly reception), good location (try the tiny hole-in-the-wall tapas bar opposite, or wander a couple of minutes down the street to the centre of town) and all at a ridiculously low price. Add to this some wonderful touches to the place (lovely... More

In this luxury palace, a renovated historical building, we got a room large enough to qualify as a suite. All furniture and decoration are modern, comfortable and clean, with a quite high ceiling. There was even a spa bath as a bonus. The front desk staff gave us some really useful advice about the activities in town, namely the Royal... More

This hotel is in an old restored bulding, in the hart of Jerez. The entrance is fantastic, with a typical andalus patio. In the stairs and in the space at the first floor there are many èiece of art. Impressive. The room itselfs was nice but a few furnitures would need to be renewed. The bad part was the minibar.... More

The Palacio Garvey is a delight, perfectly situated in the Old Town and within walking distance of all the main attractions in Jerez. We found the staff to be friendly and extremely helpful (making theatre bookings for us, for example); the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean; the breakfast (freshly squeezed orange juice, warm toast and croissants and excellent coffee)... We had 4 nights at this excellent downtown hotel. Palacio Garvey is remarkable for the modernisation and thoughtful conversion, with fine artwork and interesting artefacts in public areas. Our junior suite was on the top floor and offered some fine views over the plaza from Room 11 rooftop terrace, and on the opposite side windows to the courtyard below. Both the... More

We stayed one night in this amazing hotel whilst in Jerez for the F1 training sessions. It is spacious and full of lovely artwork. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were in room 15 which involved climbing the stairs - but these are no way as bad as made out in some reviews, though I must admit we... More

Prepare yourself as soon as you go through the door of the hotel - it's very spacious and beautifully decorated. The surprises continue as you go up to your room; there are comfortable, spacious lounging areas on each floor and the room itself is huge! It's actually a large foyer, a bedroom, and a bathroom (with a soaker tub) as... More

stayed here last night and visited tio Pepe sherry. Parked the car, was shown to our room overlooking the courtyard, all very nice. The art in the hotel makes a nice change from the sterility of big chain hotels. The hotel is on the very edge of the pedestrianised part of Jerez and a few hundred yards from a pretty... More

The room was lovely... I was in room No1 a suite for five nights on business so tried the restaurant a couple of times, the food is almost impossible to eat, covered in salt, not only that but for a 4 star hotel the food is not even close to a road side cafe. In all I tried it twice... More
