The Tryp Jerez Hotel has one of the most convenient locations in the city, because it is in the center of town and you can walk to almost everyplace of interest downtown. The hotel is located in an older building, but everything in the hotel is modern. I asked for an interior room to avoid the street noise, and I... more

We stayed here early in October 2007. The location's very good, quite close to the town centre. The room was fine if a little dated and the reception staff were very helpful. No real complaints and we felt it was decent vaue for money. more

I booked this hotel in January 2007 via the Sol Melía website - the Tryp chain is part of this group. The website is simple and very easy to follow and my reservation was confirmed immediately by email. I selected this hotel because of its central location - price also played a part! My wife and I were very impressed... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights - booked at the last minute through expedia (£43 per night inc. tax for a standard double) as my flight home was delayed owing to the ongoing strike action at Jerez airport. Entering the hotel, the foyer is functional and all appears well. The reception team quickly checked us in, even at... more

Stayed at the Tryp hotel in Jerez for one night on to kick off an Andalucian tour. The hotel is in good condition-- clean, well-run, modern. Don't expect the "old Spain" look here- it's a modern facility, but that can be welcoming after a long trip over the Atlantic. Location is convenient to exploring Jerez and just a few minutes... more

We stayed at the Tryp for one night after staying the previous 6 nights at the Palacio Garvey (Garvey was fully booked for the 7th night). The only good thing about this hotel is that it was centrally located, within minutes walking distance of the town centre and about 20-25mins from the train and bus station. Also, there are plenty... more

The location in the centre of the town is great to explore the city of Jerez and the parking ( not for free! ) is convenient. After a two day stay in this hotel I cannot recommend it. Not only the sad service, but also the rooms were not kept fresh. more

The only nice thing about the hotel is that it's walking distance from the centre. It doesn't have a pool and that is very bad considering the average temperature in Jerez. I have been given a front room and it looked ok to me but when I went to bed I couldn't sleep well cause the air was very bad,... more

This is a modern hotel in the center of jerez (it is on the mamelon square), buit inside the facade of an older building. In two minutes you are in the comercial area, where you can find shops and bars with good tapas and places where having a good breakfast (the one at the hotel seemed nice, but it was... more
