We decided to stay at this hotel after reading a great review in a travel guidebook. It was described as being a little better than it was. Not that it was bad, not at all. The rooms are spacious, very clean, with tv and a great big bathroom (with hairdryer - a definite plus), but the lighting is very dim and the furnishings are kind of old and drab. The hallways are also quite dark and reminicent of granparents' house. The lobby area is the same - very, very dark and very 70s.
But, if you don't care so much about staying in a stylish place, this place is very good for its price and location. It's only a few blocks from the Alcazar, the Tio Pepe bodega (which is, in my opinion, a waste of time) and the Cathedral. We paid 55 euros in a off season for a room, parking costs 5 euros (you definitely can't get that rate in Seville or in some other towns in Andalucia).
