I do not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They would speak about you in Spanish in front of you assuming you did not understand. The rooms are tight and offer no views. The parking situation is ridiculous. They have a free lot behind the hotel that can accommodate very few cards. If you... More

The place is obviously a very nice old building in the middle of the old town. However, it is a nightmare to get there by car through the narrow streets, hell to find a parking space and if you do, you might have your car scratched as happened to me. First time ever I saw a reception attendant watching arriving... More

An outstanding parador in a lovely walled city. Beautifully updated interiors that manage to retain the medieval charm of the original buildings (though wi-fi is slow given the thick stone walls). The town is fascinating and full of historic interest. Once you park your car at check-in time you won't need it again until you leave town. You'll wake up... More

The hotel itself is very nice. The room was lovely and accommodated us well (2 adults, 2 kids). The bathroom in our room could have been cleaner (I found old toenail clippings in the tub, yuck). The only other downside is that the staff does not speak English very well and it made for some challenging moments as we were... More

Dear customer. Thanks for your reviews in relation with our hotel. Every room is carefully cleaned every day so situations as the one you are describing to me are very strange, you should tell us in the moment because is the only way we have to check what had happened. In relation with the English level of the staff it... More

This is a beautiful hotel, right in the heart of the old city in Caceres. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable and modern, even though this is in a very old building, and the service is great. Call the hotel if you plan to arrive by car as parking is limited, an be aware that the streets are very very narrow.

This Parador does not have many facilities, but it more than compensate that with a great location at a beautiful building in a very calm and beautiful part of the lovely medieval old town of Caceres - and also with very good service from the attentive staff. Great breakfast buffet, as usual in Paradores, and free Wifi. Very reasonable prices.

The Parador in the medieval old town of Caceres which originally was the former Torreorga Palace is a world heritage site but (unfortunately) has been modernized quite a bit thus covering up some parts of what must be beautiful stone architecture. As has been mentioned by others it is challenging to park but so are most Paradors in hill towns thus... Be aware that as you wind your way through the very narrow streets, a couple of hundred metres before the Paradore there is a set of bollards, press the switch and the operators will allow access after you tell them you are staying at the Parador, you might get lucky and tailgate someone in. The hotel is amazingly presented -... More

It is a good place to stay exploring the old town of Caceres. Before you get into the restricted zone where the hotel is located, you will have to push the telecon placed on the traffic light pole. After the hotel staff verified your name, they will release the barricade for car to drive in. The staff we ran into... More

Thanks for you comments in relation with your stay in our hotel. Definitely a great place to stay! Excellent value, clean Rooms. Not too difficult to find. I agree, I would avoid large car as it is placed in the middle of the old town.
