We needed a reservation for a one-night stay. We decided for Iberia because of its perfect localization (right on Plaza Mayor, close to the old town and walls) and price. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, a good and a bad thing at the same time. Pintores street is really crowded and the night was a bit noisy... More

We wanted to see the old town of Caceres and the Hotel Iberia offered a great location. The hotel is one of the oldest commercial buildings in the town and is beautifully decorated in parts. The rooms are good but you may need to upgrade to a room on the 3rd floor to get a more peaceful nights sleep as... More

This was, in many ways, a perfect little hotel: family run, friendly, interesting décor and central to the Plaza Mayor and the delights of the old walled city. I was very glad to be there for three nights and found some particularly delightful tapas bars within a short walking distance of the hotel. It was also very good value for... More

Friendly hotel just off plaza mayor, handy for exploring old town. Our room was very spacious, but mattress could be better. Nice communal sitting area with some period glam decor. Was a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning in our street-facing room. Good value for money overall, though wouldn't recommend if you have lots of luggage as... More

We were scheduled to stay one night in Caceres, but because of illness, we stayed 3. The hotel is right at the edge of the plaza, which although convenient, the street in front is very busy and very noisy until very late at night. Although the view we had was nice, I would definitely recommend a room not facing the... More

We stayed two nights at this hotel. It is very well positioned right on the main square. The rooms are a good size. We had a triple room and it was huge. The staff were extremely helpful the receptionist spent an hour helping us to print out our boarding passes.

Good location, on the edge of the main square, but it was not the best hotel experience. Study a map carefully to find the public parking and note that you should take the parking ticket to the hotel to enable you to get a €2.50 concession (no mention of this on the booking form or a good description of how... We arrived in Caceres with no booking. We had an old Michelin red guide which listed this hotel and we thought we give it a try (any hotel listed in a Michelin guide has to be at least acceptable we reasoned). We weren't expecting such a great location, and certainly weren't expecting such good value. The reception and service was... More

I did not expect to find an affordable room in this central location without a booking. Luck was with me and remarkably at a much cheaper rate than described in the travel guide. I had a very comfortable room and was pleased to have a window which looked down a charming narrow street in the old part of town. The... More

Hotel was basic but in good location. No wifi in the rooms and NO ELEVATOR for luggage. The price included breakfast which was also basic. Beds were not very comfy and the noise level from outside was moderate.
