We stayed at Hotel Barcelo V Centenario for one night in September 2008. We booked a twin room for 70 euros + 6.54 euros garage + 7% VAT. Total: 81.99 euros. We had red all of the reviews from this hotel and were a little bit ceptical, however we wanted a cheap hotel with pool and that's what we got. This is an average 4 star, very nice big pool (but not much space around it for sunbeds), rooms are big, clean and modern. People ate front desk were very helpful giving directions and tips about town. The center town is only accessible by car or transport. Parking is kind of caotic. more

For visiting the historic centre, this Hotel is just too far away. There is a choice of 3 buses within 500m but these run at half-hourly cycles at best. We walked back late one night from the centre as Taxis were not easy to come by. It took over an hour at fast pace. Information on Websites is misleading. We... more

The public areas and rooms are very nice, the cuisine is a bit pricey, but very good. The somewhat monolingual staff is extremely friendly, eager to please, and devoted to helping guests in trouble, as we discivered after losing the key to our rental car.
