Loved the ambience and situation of this friendly and professional hotel. Very comfortable with an fine restaurant and delicious breakfast. Having stayed here, I hastily forgave my husband for not choosing the Parador.

This is a lovely historic palace and retains most of that on the outside and in the common rooms. The central location is superb and the prices are reasonable. However, the rooms themselves have been, for my taste, overly modernized as far as the type of furniture, etc. which does nothing for the atmosphere or romantic feeling this type of... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Palicio de Oquendo and truly loved it! The location is perfect, close to everything. The hotel was an old palace, so it is loaded with character! It is beautifully appointed both in the rooms, and in the public spaces. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the little park/square in front of... More

This hotel enjoys a good location from which to explore the city. The doors of the hotel open onto a pleasant small plaza. The hotel staff were consistently nice and helpful. Hotel rooms were modern and clean. Important for me, the breakfast area was well laid out. The breakfast has the usual standard items and also freshly made eggs as... More

The building is a refurbished renaissance palace. Conveniently located in the old town where cars are not allowed. although you can reach the hotel door lo drop the luggage and park you car in a public car par nearby. The bedrooms are small but bathroom size is very good and Brand new. I think it is good value for a... More

A very pleasant hotel in the old town. Close to culture experiences and restaurants. Staff very service minded and breakfast excellent. Highly recommended. Room clean, spacious and bright. My advice, try it!

Caceres is an amazing and less known world heritage Spanish city which has become on of our favorites- a true historical gem- and this hotel was the best exploration base- a restored palace in a delightful plaza, walking distance to all the city treasures, comfortable, friendly and trendy- and all without breaking the bank. Be aware that you cannot reach... More

We originally planned a 6 night stay and had one of the rooms with skylights only (you don't have to be a giant to open them as a search revealed a winder bar). At first this seemed disappointing especially as the small square the hotel is situated on is so lovely. But then we found the skylights gave us a... More

Located on a lovely little square just off the Plaza Major in a charming old palace. Unfortunately the rooms are modern and lack character. The room we were given also lacked almost all the features of a "superior" room that we'd been promised. Smaller than some of the standard rooms, it did have a Juliette balcony, but was otherwise unremarkable.... More
