stopped in here for some lunch -what a fab place. Staff are very friendly and the food was extremely good and a good selection on offer. In the summer the garden out the back would be lovely to sit in .

After a long hard day cycling our spirits were lifted when we walked into the bar to be met by John and Gill. Our bikes were locked away by John and then Gill poured us a fantastic pint of lager . At 9.30 pm on a Monday evening we did not expect to be served food but Gill explained it... More

I am a regular Sunday visitor to this lovely pub, the food is out of this world and very reasonably priced. The bar staff are really lovely, (good looking too!) and nothing is a problem, a lovely family atmosphere at all times, will be a regular so long as John and Gill are the owners. Well done!

I went here with two of my friends for dinner one evening during the week and we had a lovely meal. The restaurant itself is tucked away from the bar which was good as there was a pub quiz going on when we arrived and we didn't want to disturb them! We were so surprised when we saw the menu... We turned up without a booking on what was clearly a busy time but were warmly greeted, shown to a free table and given drinks immediately; service was very prompt and the food delicious. We will definitely return.

My friend and I had Sunday lunch here. We opted for the roast lamb which was delicious, the best roast that I have ever had out. My friend is a blind lady and I would normally have to read the menu to her, but the Landlady very kindly offered to explain the menu to my friend so that I could... More

Having stayed at the three Horseshoes before, I knew what to expect, cosy pub, warm welcome and excellent service and a good nights sleep. One new attraction was the chef. Having worked withTom Kerridge, you can imagine the quality of food, complimented by good wine and draught ales, perfect. And to cap it, when the local taxi firms could not... More

Just stopped off for Sunday lunch! Had wonderful roast beef, veg just right, crunchy Yorkshire, loads of beef, home made horse radish sauce, crunchy roasties and real gravy and loads of it! Yum! No room for homemade sweets and they do decaf coffee, lovely large glass of Merlot. They welcome dogs and kids, so will bring the dogs down next... More

After looking on TA I had chosen to eat in a nearby restaurant (Pub), on a dark December evening, but found they didn’t do food on a Tuesday, so we had to look elsewhere. As I knew they did a B&B I went to here to try and get something to eat. We are glad we did. A friendly welcome... More
