A lovely boutique hotel with large spacious rooms. Everything is period - the furniture, the decor and the charm. The place is a converted and restored palace and has been beautifully done up with artifacts and old photographs. Good service and meals. Situated in the middle of 100 acres of farmland, it made our trip more enjoyable.

I just stumbled upon this place while looking at places to stay near the Historic Mandu fort. We were lucky to be the only guests here for 3 days. An old world charm, grace and understated elegance . We were also lucky to have a chance meeting with the eloquent well read and gracious owner, such a pleasure. The manager kamna... More

Stayed here for a day with three of my friends....!! The rooms are one of a kind. Each is distinct in layout, size & decor. . Beautiful, elegant, quiet, exotic, a piece of art in itself but bathroom requires to be fited with few more amenities. The food and the atmosphere in the restaurant was ok but the services were... A lovely place to spend a quiet holiday. Rooms are large with high ceilings and lovely old wooden furniture. Beds have very comfortable mattresses (excellent sleep), though most of them are not long enough for those over six feet tall. If you are partial to fresh air, make sure you ask for a room with a window that opens out... More

A very nice place. However, don't let the "Palace" fool you. It is a huge place with 20ft ceilings and large grounds. But it is not a palace which generally comes into your mind (like one of those at Rajasthan). Its an art deco kind of place - neither a palace nor a resort. Its located in the middle of... More

Firstly this is not in mandu but in dhar almost an hour away. Secondly this is not at all a heritage property. A very badly managed property with nothing to offer and the view is some buffaloes tied up in their premises.

There are times when every one needs to get away from city madness, and we chose Jhira Bagh for an overnight trip to this quaint property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. And am very pleased to say, we came back rejuvenated, our choice of this property was most apt too. Our experience was most whole... More

We chose this hotel by default as we did not get any acomodation in Indore as it was conference time. We loved the peace and quiet of this place. The palace it self is a heritage structure and which has been renovated with extreme care. Each room is unique and tastefully done which gives a feeling of the royal past.... More

I stayed with my mother and 8 month old son and the experience was wonderful to say the least. The front office manager, Kamna, ensured that our stay was hassle free. She allowed us to cook meals for my baby in the kitchen and babysat him while we ate our dinner. The food was excellent and the stay very comfortable.... More
