Another triumph for Chef Michael Lennon - we enjoyed a fabulous lunch, beautifully cooked and presented. The menu offered good variety and excellent value for money! The butternut squash and bacon soup was divine. Our waitress Marie was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back soon.

Eat here last night and the food was lovely & service was great. But the only reason I'm not giving it a 5 rating is where I was sitting was right opposite the open pass to the kitchen. I saw food being plated up and a girl (not the chef or assistant chef) who lifted the onion rings out of... More

stopped for dinner this evening at White River. Great choice of food. My husband and I had fish in batter, which was so light and really tasty. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Best food we've had in a long time. Presentation was excellent. Very comfortable restaurant, better than we thought from the outside. Will definitely be back and... More

My husband and I stopped at the White River last Sunday 22 June for lunch. We hadn't booked, but were pleasantly greeted at reception and subsequently met by a waitress at the top of the stairs at the entrance to the dining room. Immediately after we were seated the drinks order was taken, and this was brought within minutes. Excellent... More

We have just returned from an overnight B & B deal and I just have to write a review. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so we sat and had a quiet drink in the bar. The receptionist was lovely, she even came into the bar ang gave us our key. The room was large and comfortable and we... More

Hate to dampen the generally favorable reviews here, but I just had to speak up. We booked an excellent overnight stay B&B, dinner deal for my husband's birthday. The location of the hotel is in a town that is easily the most desolate, dilapidated one I've ever seen in N Ireland, so be aware of that. The staff was friendly... More

My husband and I had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. From the minute we arrived everything was perfect! The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Best of all was the superb food compliments to the chef!! A lovely relaxing friendly & warm hotel. Cannot wait to go back.

Went for Sunday Carvery. Food was of an average standard- Carvery nothing special. Selection wasn't great. It was the poor standard of service that really was unacceptable. My other half ordered drinks as we went in. These came when we were in dessert despite repeatedly asking staff. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Our starter plates were... More
