Stayed 5 nights at the Ambra as a base for Venice. Our room is very clean and althought it faces the main street is very quiet. Staff are pleasant and spoke English. Breakfast is Continental ( a roll with butter and Jam + coffee/tea ) or for a Supplement of 3 Euros you can have a buffet breakfast which is... more

Fantastic family hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and found it relaxing and enjoyable. Room well decorated with large bathroom. Buffet breakfast at 3Euros good value for money. Reception helpful, and spoke good English. Hired bikes whilst in Quarto d'Altino and cycled around town and up the Sile River(very scenic). Very relaxing after hectic Venice. Would recommend this hotel, much... more

Very good family hotel. Spotlessly clean. Room facilities include minibar, sat tv and efficent air conditioning. Buffet breakfast nice with homemade cakes and tart. 25 minutes by train to Venice (last train 0.40 am). Managed to get back to hotel after last screening at Venice Film Festival. Would stay here again. more
