The Selene was really new and modern looking. The facilities were pretty much state of the art and everything looked just as nice as a really expensive downtown hotel would in the U.S.. I recently stayed at the Hotel Selene as it's near my office in Pomezia. I have travelled to the area many, many times before and my stay at the Selene was worse than many stays I've had at properties costing half as much. It takes at least 45 minutes to drive from downtown Rome to this hotel... and it is not an easy drive with so many turns and intersections.
