I spent 5 days at the Masseria Salamina in mid November and had a truly exceptional experience. I arrived after a busy period for them, and during the time I was there I was the only guest. In spite of this I was treated to great breakfasts, and incredible freshly cooked dinners every evening--every one was with fresh local organic... More

After a long day of traveling, it was an easy drive from the Bari airport to this beautiful fortified farm, which looks like a small castle. My daughter, husband and I arrived just in time for a wonderful dinner of Puglian specialties served on the romantic courtyard. We were warmly greeted by Filippo, the young owner, who, with his wife... More

We drove from London as we wanted to see more of Italy. Our final desination was this incredible masseria where we were guests as part of a three day wedding package. My niece wanted to get married in the nearby lovely Ostuni and this was the perfect place to stay. We would never have found it otherwise. Our hosts, Chiara... More

My wife and I were staying elsewhere but our concierge recommended Masseria Salamina when we asked for somewhere to learn about olive oil production and do some tastings. We were greeted by the owner who spent an hour with us, showing us around the magnificent Masseria which has been in his family for generations. He was exceptionally kind, informative and... More

Wow - what a lovely place. It was our last stop after a week cycling in Puglia. we'd stayed in some nice places, but we'd definately saved the best until last. I don't think I've ever felt as relaxed so quickly on arriving at any hotel. Very relaxed and peaceful - it reminded us a bit like a spa (yet... More

Our daughter got married in Ostuni and we had the reception in the Masseria. We took over the hotel for 3 days ( some of us stayed longer) and it was wonderful. The weather was perfect, the wedding breakfast and pizza feast the following night was delicious, the staff were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. The Masseria is... More

My son got married here at the beginning of July. The Masseria is outstanding, a fabulous mix of old & new, beautiful antique furniture in a centuries old home to a new undercover eating area around the pool where we danced till 4am. The food is wonderful, locally grown fruit & veg, I've never tasted mozzarella cheese like it! There... More

We've just returned from 4 nights stay at this beautiful Masseria. I've stayed in many places but I can honestly say the service here is better than anywhere I've ever been. You are looked after from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds and pool are absolutely stunning and there... More

I could spend a week...a summer...or a lifetime at the Masseria Salamina! This year it was only 2 nights. Never before have I stayed at a place that was more quiet and peaceful. Being family owned for nearly 200 years they provide just the pampering service you dream of when you are sitting at work. There are so many places... More

My daughter got married in this wonderful place. Philippe and Kiara are the most amazing people being all the time at our side, helping with everything. Kiara is a lovely host, she drove us when we needed and made our first experience in their lovely place unforgettable . Their home made food is exquisite ,same as wine . We enjoy... More
