My son got married here at the beginning of July. The Masseria is outstanding, a fabulous mix of old & new, beautiful antique furniture in a centuries old home to a new undercover eating area around the pool where we danced till 4am. The food is wonderful, locally grown fruit & veg, I've never tasted mozzarella cheese like it! There... More

We've just returned from 4 nights stay at this beautiful Masseria. I've stayed in many places but I can honestly say the service here is better than anywhere I've ever been. You are looked after from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds and pool are absolutely stunning and there... More

I could spend a week...a summer...or a lifetime at the Masseria Salamina! This year it was only 2 nights. Never before have I stayed at a place that was more quiet and peaceful. Being family owned for nearly 200 years they provide just the pampering service you dream of when you are sitting at work. There are so many places... More

My daughter got married in this wonderful place. Philippe and Kiara are the most amazing people being all the time at our side, helping with everything. Kiara is a lovely host, she drove us when we needed and made our first experience in their lovely place unforgettable . Their home made food is exquisite ,same as wine . We enjoy... More

We have stayed two times in Masseria Salamina which is one of the most memorable places in whole Italy in our over 20 years there. Already driving along the private road is breath-taking with the huge olive groves aside as the beautiful masseria slowly appears ahead of you. The peach color stone building with huge stone balcony and a big... More

There isn't a single thing I could say needs improving for this property. I stayed in 1994 and again in 2013. This gem is family owned and operated and is absolutely wonderful. We stayed in one of the 2-room ground floor suites with kitchen. Clean and comfortable in a quiet setting. Excellent food and friendly service. So serene amidst the... More

At first, driving up to the masseria feels a bit odd, as if you are driving down a private road (you are), through olive groves (you are), and then suddenly you see a what looks like a small castle in front of you, complete with tower and crenelations around the roof line. I had originally booked the least expensive mezzanine... More

I wish we would have stayed here for at least a week or more! When we arrived, driving down the short road to Masseria Salamina, the beautiful castle came into view. It was late in the afternoon and we were greeted by the owner. We were assigned one of the rooms in the newly renovated area on the second floor.... More

Just back from a week at Salamina with my family (2 adults and 2 teenage sons). This Agriturismo is outstanding - beautifully maintained property, garden and estate with a stunning swmming pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable; breakfast was delicious (Italian with plenty of fruit, juices, Puglian cakes and rolls, freshly made coffee). We ate dinner 4x in the... More
