Enjoyed immensely our two-night stay at Masseria Salamina in early November. It's like staying in your own private castle, with interior furnishings right out of a museum. Filippo and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the kitchen went out of their way to prepare food according to our liking. As many others have said, our only regret was... More

This was a farmhouse when it was built back in the 1600's but today, it's much closer to what I think of as a small castle. Beautiful rooms, lovely balconies, and fantastic breakfasts. The staff were all very accommodating. I only wish we could have spent a few more days there. It's a very romantic spot and close to other... More

Our family of 10 had the privilege and pleasure of staying in five of the Masseria's rooms, suites and apartments in mid September on our travels through Puglia. It is an imposing historical structure that has been lovingly restored and maintained by the family owners as a hotel and restaurant of exceptional quality. Additionally, it is an active olive oil... My mother, my daughter and myself took a one week cooking class with Kiera and her helper Marissa at the masseria. Kiera is the owner along with her brother and they couldn't have been kinder. The classes were tons of fun. We were shown all kinds of recipes that are popular to the area. We made our food an then... More

If it's a totally relaxing time you want in a beautiful house in a beautiful landscape surrounded by miles and miles of olive trees (it's a working olive farm, not that you'd really know it), then you'll not be disappointed. The most delicious food, all home grown, home cooked and super tasty (when was the last time you ate a... More

We got married last summer at the Masseria Salamina, and i'm embarrassed that i'm only just writing this review now! Everything about this hotel is perfect, we invited all our family and friends to stay here with us and everyone loved it as much as we did. Don't let the fact that they do weddings here put you off, they... More

We selected Masseria Salamina from an internet search, phoned up and spoke to Filippo who was most helpful, paid a deposit and went to see what we had got. Fantastic stay, we were in the cheapest rooms, the mezzanine, but it was spacious, cleaned daily including sheets & towel change, air conditioned and with a good bathrooom. Note the bathroom... This agritourismo is top drawer. The owners take pride in this generations owned hotel and share their knowledge of the land and olive oil production with love and great pride. Rooms are very large, beautiful, and the property is very clean. The pool and service there is outstanding. Although air is not very cold, they are helpful and bring fans.... More

We arrived at the hotel late at night with just time to unpack and go to bed. We awoke in the morning to sunshine, peace and quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside from our room - just wonderful. We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a very different hotel to those we normally... More

we spent two and a half memorable weeks at this wonderful property. first and foremost, the service is absolutely perfect. these people authentically care about making one feel at home. one's every need is attended to without anyone ever "hovering". if you need something, they're there, if you don't, the place is yours to roam and relax in. the property...
