What a disappointment! We stayed here for 2 nights in the second week of September 2014 - gloriously hot sunshine I was very much looking forward to starting my tour of the northern Sardinian coast with a short stay at this beach hotel in Golfo Aranci. Firstly the positives .The location of this hotel is its most desirable you could... More

We stayed here for one week in late September. The location is good, Twenty minutes from the airport and a ten minute walk to town where there are a couple of small supermarkets, gift shops and trattorias. The hotel is literally on the beach but the private area is very small and during our stay there were times when there... More

The location of this hotel is perfect - not far from airport and in a relatively quiet bay. The hotel staff is friendly and extremely helpful, rooms are comfortable. It is worth to pay for sea view as the other side is just boring city view. Food is great - breakfast choice excellent and dinner menu changes every day. The... More

Booked a weeks holiday here at the end of May for our wedding anniversary. Hotel and area were quiet as the holiday season was just beginning but that suited us, suspect the area gets very busy in peak season. Weather was a little mixed (storm one day and could get windy) but again, peak season can be extremely hot. Mostly... More

My wife and I had a 4 night "mini-moon" at Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro (21-25 July). I booked a superior double room with a sea view and the view across Golfo Aranci was fabulous. The room was very comfortable though quite compact. The room had air conditioning though the a/c unit was on the balcony so that got quite hot !... More

What a fantastic location this hotel has, it's right on the beach and wherever you sit in the hotel you are likely to get a fantastic view. One view looks to the beach joining the the hotel and the other view looks towards the harbour where you see the ferry coming in every day, both equally lovely. I chose this... More

We have just returned from a week at Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro, and can thoroughly recommend it. All the staff, from the maids, the waiters and receptionists were friendly, polite and always pleased to help. The hotel and grounds were kept spotlessly clean and the gardens are beautiful. The beach is small with very shallow water, ideal for children and there... More

Most people come to this area of Sardinia for the beautiful beaches. That being said, hotels right on the beach are difficult to come by. Gabbiano Azzurro has a small but lovely private beach with turquoise, shallow waters. In the summer there is a fee of 10e to rent an umbrella and chair, and it can get quite crowded so... More

This hotel was really lovely, great attention to detail, fantastic service and very relaxing. It was lovely to have breakfast on the patio, the service around the pool was first class, and we celebrated a birthday while we were here and they could not have been more helpful, and it was really good value for the cake, prosecco and flowers... My wife and I have just spent four very pleasant days in the hotel Gabbiano Azzurro in one of the hotels third floor sea view double rooms. The rooms are compact but have spacious and very well equipped bathrooms with a comprehensive range of toiletries which are refreshed each day. The air conditioning was efficient; the TV offered the usual... More
