Excellent service and amazing suppers at the Hotel. Better than at most restaurants. Been with family at the end of june, and we were super comfortable, and ate very well. One point to improve was WiFi, as I needed it to work some hours every day ;-(

We stayed at Villa Margherita from 18th to 22nd October and the resort and the hotel closed down around our ears. Several local restaurants were open when we arrived on the Saturday but by the Tuesday evening only two were left open in the whole resort - and the hotel had closed it's own restaurant 'for the season' despite still... We had an executive room on the third floor with excellent view of the bay. Half board included a good breakfast and a four course menu, very good quality. The hotel is family run and you always feel the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. It is about making your stay a wonderful experience and you do not get the... More

Villa Margherita is a little gem. We stayed for a week in July 2014 as our first family holiday (with a 10 month old) and could not have been more welcomed by the staff who went out of their way to look after us and our little one. The décor of the hotel is quite traditional, but if you can... More

Just spent a week at Villa Margherita in out of the way Golfo Aranci. If you want to relax this is the place and the Hotel for it. The staff on reception only have to be asked and they will sort any problem out. They obtained a car for us at short notice and always had a ready smile, and... More

First-timers to Sardinia. Mainly went to experience Italian food somewhere other than the mainland! Was a little disappointed by the photos of the hotel our agent pointed us towards - but the Villa Margherita Hotel is actually a little gem. We went just after schools went back in UK (3rd - 10th Sept), so quiet and other residents were older... More

Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. We had a room with a balcony on the first floor, great sea view and spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good if not a bit repetitive in terms of choice. The pool and gardens were lovely and very relaxing. The location of the hotel was very central for the restaurants,... More

First off we did enjoy staying at this hotel. It has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, the whole building is spotless and the staff are so lovely if a bit thin on the ground at times. They were always happy to help when asked but need to be more visible for service especially around the pool area. The breakfast is good... More

We stayed at this hotel in late July. We wanted a resort with lots of sun, close to the beach and with a lovely pool, but away from the hordes of other travellers escaping for their summer holidays. Above all, we wanted to feel like we were in Italy, not a sunny version of England. Golfo Aranci was the perfect... More

This beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations as we felt the photos on the booking site did not really do it justice. It is simply stunning, more modern than it appears with beautiful furnishings and what looks like Amtico flooring in the bedrooms. We had a top floor room with a balcony that looked out over the amazing Gulfo Aranchi turquoise... More
