If you're coming to Minden by train, this is the hotel for you. It's just outside the station entrance, whilst the others are all a good walk away. Reception was friendly and efficient, room was clean and comfortable. As other contributors have already said there is some noise from the railway, especially when the windows are open. So get a... Stayed for one night. Very close to trainstation and only a very short walk to the town center. Room was clean, a bottle of water was provided. breakfast buffet was great. the door to the bathroom was with tempered glass which was very strange if you are sharing the room.I also missed a floor mirror as i had to get... We stayed in this hotel just one night in a so called 'apartment' for 5 people. The rooms were located on the third floor so it was very inconvenient to carry the suicases up the stairs - there was no lift. I can't tell anything about the condition of other rooms but the ones we got were very poor: no... More

A nice quiet hotel, B &B only. Very helpful e mail info given prior to arriving regarding garaging the motorbike. Friendly staff and clean rooms, nice beer in the bar. Good advice given for eating out in town.

Stayed here for a long weekend with 14 other friends, we all loved it, rooms big and clean, quiet hotel next to the train station and 5 mins walk to the the town centre, plenty to eat at breakfast and has its own bar with decent prices, can't fault it

Had nice quiet room at side of hotel. Really clean and bright. Nice bathroom and great shower. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff who tried very hard with their English for our benefit. Great to have a secure car parking space in their underground garage. Only stayed one night but would have been very happy to stay longer.

Our room was clean, comfortable and quite large. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, which obviously means you can hear trains, but we hardly heard them with the windows closed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good choice of breads, meats and cheeses and lots of fresh fruit. The only thing we found a bit... More

OK for a night or 2. Watch out if u r a light sleeper and get room on side across street from train. The trains run all night. I sleep through just bout anything but if u r light sleeper, ask for room facing the garden. Rooms very simple in furniture depart. Carpeting worn and replacement would improve overall look....
