We stayed 3 nights in the Bangkok room, wonderfully spacious and quirky. It was busy due to the Tour De France but we still managed to park right outside the front door. Jean and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The breakfast lived up to... More

and that's not just the hotel! Jean Bernazrd and his wife are wonderful hosts with lots of ideas on things to do in the area. Very accommodating to our needs. Lovely, clean quirky rooms with a huge breakfast. Great location - walking distance to the main town street, beach and Aqualud.

Great service, amazing breakfast ( you will not need lunch) and crazy rooms. Stayed in the Marrakech which was very spacious and comfortable and our host, Jean, made us feel very welcome. Parking easy, and closeness to the main streets and beach was excellent.

an all too short stay with my partner...in 'Bangkok'...and friends in 'Marrakech' left a lasting memory. We have stayed in some fabulous hotels/suites in the South Pacific recently and I can honestly say that so far as the comfort/cleanliness/quirkiness/decor and character of the rooms is concerned, Itsara was right up there !...further, the breakfast was something to behold (don't eat... As someone who travels a lot for business (staying mostly in bland chain hotels), this was a breath of fresh air... Unique bedrooms are decorated with artefacts from around the world (we had the Bangkok suite in the loft, complete with enormous bathtub!) Owner Jean Bernard is definitely a character; very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for him.... More

Great themed rooms, stayed in New York. All very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts are large and extra 10€ each per day. So long as you're hungry it's worth it! Very close to the town centre. Jean Bernard (owner) is lovely, recommending places to go and see, along with great stories about the local life and history. Lovely stay!

This is not exactly an hotel, nor is it a bed & breakfast, although the breakfast is superb, it's really an 'experience', that's the only way I can describe it. Factual stuff: Easy parking, friendly management/owners, accurately described on the website, great value, very central to Le Touquet shopping and restaurants. Fantasy stuff: You really have to see it to... More

just returned from a wonderful couple of days in le Touquet. Our stay at Isatara was very memorable in so many ways. Our host was charming and he certainly made a delicious breakfast served in our room. We stayed in the Marrakesh suite which was beautifully decorated with Moorish style lamps, wall hangings etc. The garden was a lovely extra so... More

My boyfriend and I had wonderful stay at Itsara in the beginning of January and I cannot say enough good things about this boutique hotel. Firstly Jean, the owner, is extremely friendly and welcoming. He is always quick with a suggestion of where to get the best seafood, mojito or whatever you may be looking for. He was very accommodating... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We try to perfect us and my wife and me spend long time every day on duty. Good news: Giant TV screen in Marrakech suite and new collection of paintings from a new young artist from Miami Beach! (coming soon) Thank you again! God bless J.B.DARMON. More

This place would be considered a one-off in Milan, New York or LA - but in calm, conservative, Le Touquet it borders on revolution. The deal is simple and hotel unique, 5 very different rooms, themed around cities. We stayed in Bangkok, a cosy retreat in the loft, peppered with dark reds, Buddhas and funky lighting - plus a giant... More
