Stayed here on a long weekend golf break booked last minute. Basic rooms with tiny bathrooms on the top floor and a toilet which you had to sit sideways on!!! Everything is just tired and needs refurbishing. OK location and a reasonable breakfast but I will not be rushing back.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Windsor. Good location, and comfortable beds, but thats where it ends im afraid. Probably a nice hotel in 1945. In need of total refurb including the staff Rubbish!!

stayed at this hotel 2 days ago. Awful. It was getting late and we were tired and desperate! We would not have stayed otherwise. The only plus I can think of , is it was very central to restaurants and bars. We did not stay for breakfast as we wanted to leave quickly. When we left we found much better... More

Once upon a time this was probably a nice hotel but not now. No one on reception after 3pm (you have to walk to a nearby hotel for bookings and keys). Staircarpet shabby, crumpled, worn and dirty. Paint peeling on windows and doors. Broken glass in bedroom window. Toilet knob broken. Pretty breakfast room but that's no compensation. Stay elsewhere!

A poor shabby hotel, a truculent Receptionist (Manager???) tiny accommodation and a shower room hardly bigger than a caravan shower room. No shower door only a piece of curtain. However, the linen was exceptionally clean and the lift was a great help. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - they even took funds from my credit card which... More

I confirm exactly with the previous reviews, with the exception that we did have English tv - bbc 1, 2, channel 4 and film 4. Despite the cold, flaky paint, dubious wiring and overpriced breakfast, I slept fine and the location is good.

As been said before it really needs a good lick of paint bathroom ceiling dreadfull, but room spotless and roomy,we were lucky compared to others, had a proper ensuite. They don't have english tv even if they advertise this, not a major problem for us.Breakfast can be hit or miss depending how many guests they have staying, first morning just croissants... Most reviews sum up the Windsor . Badly in need of investment , the rooms are basic ( some worse than others) as are the ameneties. For example , the showers are mostly designed for midgets. Everyone disappears at 8pm so dont lose your key , or you go to the sister hotel , the Bristol. Breakfast buffet is adequate.... More

Very, very worn and shabby and outdated, although bedding and bathroom very clean. No power points in room, had to use one in bathroom to charge phone. Triple room ok size with double and single beds. No shower, just shower nozzle on taps with no shower curtain and short bath. Everything old and needing to be updated. Our friends double... More

Me and a friend recently stayed in Hotel Windsor, le Touquet. When we walked into the room we found that the bathroom wasn't a real room and was cheaply installed and wasn't even built up to the ceiling! The shower looked very weak to stand on and cracks were all over the room and windows. I and my friend are... More
