Wonderful location so a shame that the apartments are so shabby. It wouldn't take much to make this a superb residence. It needs some love, fresh paint, new carpets and good cleaning. Also a shame about the staff who could be so much more friendly and helpful with not much effort.

Our check in was 5pm but as it was raining so hard we tried to check in at 4pm only to be told we had to wait. We were 2 adults and two children so booked a bigger appartment so girls could have their own room. It is a typical pierre vacances apartment a little tatty and tired in places,... More

The resort was filthy, there was no hot water after 6pm. None of the staff could speak even basic English and were very unhelpful. There appeared to be one trolley for the whole residence and the lift worked approx 10 mins each day. The stairs smelt of wet dog and the resort had not been painted for a long time.... More

The location is good for walking to the beach and 10 minutes from Le Touquet centre. The swimming pool and grounds were nice. The staff were pleasant, although I cannot understand why reception is closed between 12-2 and only open for a few hours throughout the day. We had two apartments a 6/7 person and a 4 person. They were... More

We just went for a short getaway trip to somewhere pretty on the coast where we could go for a stroll, have a leisurely lunch/dinner and visit some nearby towns. The is an idyllic little town on the Opal Coast - quite the retreat in the summer for French holidaymakers. We were there mid-Feb so it was pretty quiet, which... More

We - a Danish family of 4 with 2 teenage girls - have stayed at Les Jardins de la Cote d'Opale 3 times in the past 2 years. Le Touquet is a very nice town, and it is a a great starting point for visits to WW1 Memorials, we have also made 1-day trips to Paris as well as to... More

We have been here before so knew what to expect in terms of the appartments - Butlinesque but reasonable. What did leave us shocked was the attitude to customer service - totally non existent! We paid for high speed wifi - only to be told when it only worked intermittently that they outsourced it, it was not their problem and... More

When we arrived we found the door locked and a sign saying reception closed between 12 and 2, although strange we went off to the beach and returned about 3. The receptionist spoke good English and seemed at first to be very helpful, how wrong first impressions can be!!! When hiring a bike she spoke to us like fools, when... More

We have visited this residence many times over the last 6 or 7 years. If you are expecting a luxury hotel you will be disappointed, but think Travelodge/Premier Inn without daily hotel services you will not be far out. We always book the largest apartment, which gives us a comfortable double bed, a separate living area, bathroom, separate loo/shower room... More

After 3 days without hot water, we moved room. Were they very apologetic? No. Did they offer to help move our bags? No. Did they offer us partial refund? No (discount next time we stay, that won't happen). Did they clean new room for us? YES! Did they make up beds in new room for us? NO!! Tired hotel but... More
