We have stayed at this hotel several times on our way back to Calais. The rooms are spacious, really comfortable beds (although the sofa bed for our daughter wasn't as comfortable) and clean, however the balcony could have done with a lick of paint. The hotel is right on the beach, and also has a great swimming pool, be warned... more

We came across this by accident - having booked into the Ibis next door. Excellent room, great service and fabulous beach views. It is very quiet here, relaxing on the balcony and drinking in the view. Big comfy bed, sea air and the sea lulling you to sleep - bliss! The 10 min walk to the town is a sheer... more

Having read a couple of reviews before we booked the Novotel we were a bit dubious about what to expect for the price (£63 per night per room bed and breakfast - Novotel early bird special). We were pleasantly relieved when we arrived. The location is superb, right on the beach with a fantastic view from the restaurant and stunningly... more

I should have known better; Accor and their Novotel branding have lost the plot somewhere or quite possibly, just being arrogant on the needs of their guests. I thought it was going to be a great location and although the initial appearance (WW2 bunker grey) of the building and its surrounding 'gardens' was a little off putting we proceeded to... more

This is an excellent hotel. The situation, on the beach was fantastic, the bar and outside facilities wonderful. The majority of the staff speak some English which is really helpful. The resort itself is lovely. The best place for authentic ,tasty and reasonably priced food was the Matiese. Will definately return next year. more

We stayed for 2 nights in Novotel le Touquet with 2 children and a dog. It is hard to fault this hotel, because it is simply excellent. Location wise, itt can't get any better. It is basically on the beach, and a pretty beach for that matter. The rooms are the usual Novotel rooms, which measn they are actually quite... more

This hotel charges Eur 20 per night for a small dog. This is far more than other hotels I used on the same trip at Eur 8 per night. Something to consider if you intend taking your dog with you to Le Touquet. more

I booked two nights stay with my daughter as a half term break. I chose Novotel rather than the cheaper Ibis to make it a little more special. I would have had more comfort and space in a Travelodge. The room was cramped and cheaply furnished, with stains on the wall and chipped woodwork. The toilet roll holder was hanging... more

For those wanting a hotel with a room balcony directly on the excellent beach at Le Touquet the Novotel has to be the best available. Having booked a more expensive 'superior' room I had expected better than a standard room with some newer looking furniture. At least the 'superior' rooms were the farthest from the stairs and elevator so there... more

Hotel is right on the sandy beach (pay the extra for sea views as rear rooms overlook the car park and have small windows). It is great for small children as breakfast is free for kids sharing parents room. Views from breakfast room are stunning, and bar on floor below, especially the evening sunsets over the sea . Weren't able... more
