A splendid hotel but in need of refubishment of furniture in the rooms. the room we had was too hot and stuffy. bathroom needs sprucing up. the hotel frontage and public areas are beautifully kept in art-deco style and it is a pleasure just to sit with a drink in thebar

As others have said before, the hotel is fine, but expensive. The rooms are clean if not a little old and tired but there is plenty of space in the rooms. This is not a cheap hotel, and it must be judged against others in it's price range. Our room was clean, and perfectly comfortable, but it was tired. The photo doesn't do justice to the lovely pool. By contrast our room, although we had a great view of the estuary, was tired. Peeling paint and tatty bathroom fittings.
