This was a very good quality hotel. The beds were very comfortable, restaurant good, and good value, and bar prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended. I had thought of IBIS assa budget group, but this was much better than that

This is a really comfortable and personable establishment on the outskirts of Falaise. Most importantly for me it's one of the few places I can find in the locale with reasonable fast internet access (other than McDonalds). The staff are friendly, the kitchen is good and the bar and games room is comfortable and spacious. There's also a wonderful log... More

Ibis Falaise. We stayed here on the nights of June 5 and 6 for our visit to the Normandie Beaches to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. It was quite a little drive, especially the night of the 6th, after spending that whole day at Utah Beach. We had to leave knowing it was a 2-hour drive. We could have... More

Arriving late from the car ferry, we were made very welcome and checked in with little hassle. The hotel is ideally suited just off of the main road and easy to find. The hotel provided easy access and plenty of parking. Our room was modern with all the facilities required from a budget hotel. we had a comfortable night and... More

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Falaise close to an exit from the main road, with a Leclerc and Lidl supermarket and McDonald's closeby. The centre of Falaise is just over a kilometre away. It has ample parking. It is a fairly typical Ibis with 2 floors and a lift. A little on the expensive side unless you... More

There is probably a good reason that this Ibis Hotel does not have a picture of their rooms on their website. They are in desperate need of an update! We like the Ibis brand, but will not stay here again unless they update their rooms and get rid of the gross orange carpet and mint green fixtures. The beds are... More

This hotel is most unexpected. It is part of a large chain, but has the atmosphere of a small, family owned business. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always smiled when they spoke. The rooms are nothing special, but they are quiet, comfortable, clean and well designed. Ours overlooked the lovely gardens at the back. We had an... More

Arriving late evening in Ouistreham, we had booked an overnight here. We arrived at around 11.30pm and left at 8am the next morning, breakfasting on the road. The staff were helpful, the room clean and the bed comfortable. Couldn't fault it, and the location a couple of minutes from the AutoRoute perfect - we got to our friends in the... More
