From the 3 leading Lappeenranta hotels this is the one with the longest distance to Saimaa lake and passenger harbour, but it is well integrated in an administration and shopping complex and offers free garage parking for its guests (very practical in winter times)

Welcome was professional, although the large party arriving parallel to us seemed to be more interesting for the staff, because of their convention booking. The rooms are mid-size, well decorated in colourful Scandinavian style and offer a fully equipped bathroom with tub and a lot of amenities. Try to avoid room 328 which is in the NE corner of the building, where you will enjoy day and night - due to the traffic lights at the crossing -the stop & go noise of the passing cars.
