The hotel is situated between the city and the harbour. In the summertime it is great to visit the harbour and the restaurantboats there and there is also the marketplace near. The castle and it's remains are on the hill beside the harbour. There's so much to see in the city too. I recommend.

Once again i enjoyed my staying in Patria. I have visited it many times. You can feel yourself very welcomed every time. Patria was renovated some years ago but you can still feel somehow the good old times. My favourite place in the hotel is the Saimaa sauna. It' s hot, calm and has a fabulous balcony. I also like... Nice, clean, well-served and relaxed. Fine location. Large window, spaceous balcony overlooking a quiet inner yard or the equally quiet street (not too useful in November though). Regular 'Finnish' breakfast with everything you need. All basic facilities in the room. Rooms quite noise-proof. Good sauna with whirlpool tub.

Wonderful rest in a nice hotel! Very comfortable place, all shops in the centre of the town are available. We liked sauna and bathroom and the service in a hotel. Only angry hungry big birds spoilt our feeling (they ate and damaged the food in plastic bag left on the balcony and nobody of staff prevebted it although everybody knew... More

Stayed at the hotel for two nights for business. Had a fairly small room, but it worked fine. Good wifi. The best thing about the hotel was that they provides realy nice glutenfree bread for the breakfast.

Patria Lappeenranta is a basic Scandic hotel with friendly service. The location is perfect, very close to the harbour and the castle. Also restaurants and bars are located nearby. Would not choose any other hotel in Lappeenranta. Room was nothing special, allthough it was super clean and rather modern. Breakfast was nothing memorable but nothing to complain about either.

The hotel is a part of a mid-price chain, but not any worse for it. I did not expect too much and was positively surprised. The room was clean, not large but adequate size, and well maintained in good modern decor. We had a dinner in a big group and were well satisfied with the cooking, the menu was not... More

This hotel was just excellent: Very good location; close to the harbour (and the cruises) and close to bus stations. The rooms were not very luxurious but clean. During the night, it was very quiet. The breakfast was very good and the dinner I had in the restaurant was really excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
