Old and unmodern hotel without any charm. Ok staff . I understand that it is not the easiest place in the world to run and maintain a hotell. Bed an breakfast without charm. Will test the other hotel if I return.

The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The decoration is out of a haunted house. I would love to have one of those special lights to examine the bed linen because I doubt it has been changed in thirty years. The food was the opposite of spectacular and after witnessing an argument between a waitress and the chef it is... More

I visited this hotel when traveling on business in Sodankylä. I only stayed here for one night. The overall appearance is quite outdated but it kinda met my expectations. The room and the other spaces were clean and tidy. The hotel is conveniently located near the E75/4 main road, so it's easy to reach (and you can't get lost anyway).... More

Hotel has a very functional and somewhat uninviting appearance which dates back to the 70's perhaps? Lobby and interiors follow this outdated image but places seem to be in order and clean. I met only one person of the staff and the service was helpful and polite. The room had hardwood floor and basic furniture with an empty minibar. TV... More

Price (which was supposed to be "discounted") still seemed rather expensive for this nondescript hotel, The lady receptionist was helpful. Room was pleasant, with coffee and tea and flat screen TV. Separate saunas for male and female are available on ground floor. Breakfast was satisfactory. Limited menu choice at restaurant so we went to the hotel nearby which served a... More

This hotel is a bit older building. Still it looks ok and the whole hotel seems to be clean. Our room was very spacious, furnitures are a bit old but the room was very clean. Minibar or fridge was turned off for some reason. Location is excellent by the road E75 and hotel has own parking area with heaters for... More

We had read reviews of this hotel some of which were not particularly favourable. Yes, the building is dated and doesn't look that appealing but we found our room fine for an overnight stay. There is only parking in the open but there are individual heaters for the cars. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice of... More

Sodankyla is a mining town, and often we are asked to stay there for work. If there is anyway to avoid it I would. Dirty, the staff barely speak English and are extremely unfriendly. Internet was non existent. There was a lingering smell, that just makes you uncomfortable. I would recommend the camping ground before here. But if you have... More
