Stayed 1 night, cool for short stay during road trip or experience small town Frederikshavn (it is a seaman hotel, so good for before/after sailing as well). Nice breakfast, decent internet connection, very very very quite place :-) Bear in mind the classical Scandinavian town shutdown after 6-7 pm, so do your business of eating or buying in nearby places... Arriving or leaving with boat from Sweden or Norway, this hotel is perfectly situated, a couple of 100 meters from the harbour and in a very quiet area. Entering the hotel, their beautiful lobby sets the key. Very friendly and efficient staff, neat and clean rooms, and a lovely breakfast buffet complete the picture. Erica, Stockholm

Arriving in Frederikshavn ny ferry from Gothenburg, the hotel is in a Walking distance from the ferry terminal. The hotel is very comfortable at the pricing, WiFi included, however the staff seemed to be a Little bit... tired? Nice restaurants in the area, but the city itself is not Worth a several day vacation. Railway station is also close to... More

This Hotel is very tidy and clean. And the best service. Very good value for the money. Parking just outside the lobby. And the Hotel is situated next to the best restaurants in Frederikshavn and to the Harbor, which also contains the well known restaurant 'Snerlen'. You have to try this Hotel, because it is the best in the area.

Myself, my husband and 2 kids aged 4 and 7 stayed one night here before catching the ferry to Oslo, the hotel was perfectly located for the port but was also near restaurants and shops. Private free parking was a bonus and the hotel itself was very clean with a good breakfast though it did feel expensive considering that it... More

Hotel prices in Denmark seems high but for beeing a buget hotel this is quite good. Staff is friendly, room was clean, breakfast was okey with a selection of fresh fruit. On the downside was that sounds propagated quite easily from both the outside, from the corridor and from other rooms. Try to get a room not facing the street... More

We spent a night at this hotel before getting on the ferry to Goteborg. The room was vey simple and faced the back parking lot and outdoor terrace. Like other hotels in Scandinavia (as we later discovered), there were almost no toiletries: no tissues, shampoo, glasses for water. Soap was in a dispenser and the shower was integral to the... More

Stayed on the 2nd floor. NEGATIVES: 1) Customer Service poor. No internet in the room despite me asking reception if they definitely had it. When Receptionist was asked why internet wasn't working she said nobody else had complained so it must be working. She implied it was the firewall on my computer. After several tries I then got another (my)... More

We stayed for one night in a tripleroom, 1.100 DKK. The room was big with bright colours and really clean. Great bathroom. It all looked newly renovated. Nice staff and a really good breakfastbuffet. The location is good, just a few minutes walking from both the centre and the ferryterminal. We would certainly recommend this hotel, great value!!
