The hotel is situated in a pedestrian street in the centre of Horsens. The house is a former mansion, which is now a very elegant 4-Star hotel. The room is decorated very tastefully in a mansion style, white / offwhite colours. Everything was very clean. The room is quite small, but very cosy. However, the bathroom was large and equipped... The biggest advantage of staying at Jorgensens hotel is that you are living right in the middle of the city. You have shops and eating places left, right and centre. Their rooms are traditionally styled. Disadvantage: No gym or swimming pool. Their breakfast is really good. Overall a good stay!

The hotel is really downtown. Free parking is also excellent. Typical Danish breakfast with some hot and cold in the selection. Hotel is a bit worn down, but at least it keeps its historical charm. I would expect higher service mindness from hotel staff, and I also think it lacks some amneties to reaaly deserve a higher rating. But a... More

Stayed two Nights in a clean spacious nicely renovated superior room. We had a tasty Valentine dinner for a resonable price - ended the first Night in the bar in the basement (eydes kælder), listening to live Music and one free beer (voucher from the hotel) - a very good experience. The hotel are located in the middel of the... More

Great location in mainstreet horsens, We had 1 night + dinner, which was good value for money. But best was the breakfast in bed, so much that it was almost a breakfast buffet in bed, and finally a hotel with a 12 o'clock checkout and not 10 o'clock super.

All the reviews that I've read are accurate and how you view this hotel is up to you. If you are used to Danish hotels, then this is a step up from the basic ones and if you want the brand name luxury, you will be disappointed. I found at times the hotel was quiet and other times, yes the... More

Our stay in this hotel was very short but very pleasant. Comfortable hotel, a little old fashion but with a very pleasant staff. The difficulty was to find the hotel (however indicated) which is located in a pedestrian street closed by a barrier. It is necessary to call the hotel for the opening on the street and to reach the... More

Gorgeous building, great location. I would have loved to have eaten in the cellar restaurant, unfortunately it was shut. Apparently the kitchen staff have Sundays free. ??? The bedroom for 4 people only had 3 beds. A fold-up bed was quickly made up by the receptionist after complaining.....well,he did his best. The mattrasses are way too soft, the telephone Jurassic... The hotel is a really beautiful building. I was in a 1 person room, clean, big enough with all you need. The hotel was perfectly quiet with really nice persons in charge of our needs. Breakfast (from 7 to 10 am) was awesome: a large variety of food and drink to have a good start for a long day. No... More

Even being already familiar with the poor standard of Danish hotels outside of Copenhagen (besides very few exceptions - Royal in Aarhus or Opus in Horsens) - this was reveling new experience: small room that was build and forgotten somewhere in the 60ies, bathroom with water coming form the top and watering the whole bathroom at once (this is called...
