The hotel is a great alternative for those visiting Melk who don't want to pay the overpriced accommodation around the abbey. The landmark is at a 10 minute drive from this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and the room we stayed in was newly renovated. Although the coffee was horrible (I think it was actually instant coffee), the rest... More

We stayed here as part of a biking tour. The staff were very friendly; the rooms very nice. Dinner was very good although we were the only ones in the restaurant. The presentation for Breakfast was outstanding!

We arrived with no reservation, the hotel was very busy but the friendly owner found a room for us and got an extra bed for my son. Lovely hotel, it is like the tardis inside, it seemed huge! Traditional decor throughout the hotel which was very nice, the room was clean, safe area and free parking and wifi. Arrived late... More

Average drive-true hotel for one night. Frendly staff, owner not that frendly and no time for guests. The hotel is located just after the industrial area, at the train station. The rooms are oké, complete and good for one night. Nothing wrong there, but more expencive than autobahn hotel

Stayed on a bike tour. When we arrived the receptionist appeared a little bonkers and kept running off. After taking our bikes we were led to the hotel room by a member of staff. They gave us a jug of water which was appreciated although some help with our bags up the stairs would have been just as appreciated (if... More

Quite a good place to stop for 1 night underway to Eastern Europe. Good location, 5 minutes drive from the highway. Friendly staff, reasonable food (shnitzel is great), good local beer. Very clean, reasonaby price. Simple rooms, no fancy stuff, just good for 1 night. The hotel seems to have grown in space and number of rooms, however the rooms... More

The hotel overall is nice, however not all rooms are non-smoking, and for a non-smoking family being in a smoking room is far from pleasant. The hotel is right across from the train station - take this into account if the noise of trains passing bothers you! We reserved three rooms for two families - got three rooms that are... More

stayed here on our bike tour. It was ok. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel so the room was new although no air con or even a fan provided so we had to leave the window open which was above the beer garden and across from the train station. The breakfast selection was really good but the... More

We stayed at this hotel while biking from Passau to Vienna. Overall I liked it because we had an updated room *with a new bathroom. We also enjoyed the beer garden/restaurant. We looked around the town and I think it probably had the best restaurant. If it's very hot, there is a public pool in the town that was very... More
