Stayed at the Cantley House Hotel for a colleagues wedding-what a lovely surprise. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, some areas of the hotel need refurbishing but a great stay, lovely place for a wedding reception small and friendly though I am sure they could cater for a larger scale wedding. Nice staff a refreshing break- thanks

We went to "afternoon tea" at this delightful hotel through a Travelzoo deal. We took afternoon tea at lunchtime because we pick up our grandchildren. They said this would be fine. We were made very welcome and had delicious sandwiches, tea, glasses of bubbly and hot scones with clotted cream and jam plus cakes ! Very pleasant setting. Lovely staff... More

Last night we booked a table for dinner and entertainment at The Cantley House Hotel. We also decided to stay the night , and we are delighted that we did. The Hotel is absolutely charming, an elegant country house set in beautiful gardens. The hotel is tastefully decorated, the rooms are large and best of all was the bathroom. We... More

My Husband and I spent 2 nights at this Hotel for Henley Regatta week-end and are very glad we did! .As hotels in Henley were mostly full at that time, and those that weren't, 'exceedingly expensive, we decided to go further afield. Cantley House Hotel is just 20 mins away and was a brilliant choice. The room was very comfortable... More

Convenient to Reading area. A rural retreat nxt to M4 but noise not too bad. Lovely grounds. Easy parking. Edwardian style; dated but charming. Narrow corridors. Restauarnt good but slow. booked through laterooms.com so £79 for double room. Happy with that. Would come back.

My wife and I spent two nights at Cantley House Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a comfortable room on the ground floor overlooking the well kept gardens. What made our stay so special was the friendly and helpful staff. I must mention the receptionist, Sarah, who couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

Friendly staff, but the room had very tired decor & in need of a thoroughly good clean. On the plus side, nice gardens, the bed linen & towels were clean and all the staff seemed friendly however the room and the food really lets this place down. The bathroom, was quite frankly, disgusting. Large splits and holes along the side... More

It has taken me some time and a prompt to respond to this review as you can see. You (tripadvisor visitor) can see all reviews, enough to know that some overstate the positive and others feast on the negative. If this review had no foundation I would have created a stir and, that I have not, and that it has... More
