Room was excellent, exactly what me and the Mrs needed for a cheeky night away (if you know what i mean)... Comfort and practicality of the bed is an easy 10/10, no complaints from me or the Mrs. Often stay in the Hilton but after finding this place ill never go anywhere else again. Thinking of having my summer holiday... More

Big basic rooms, small bathroom, clean and tidy. No fuss. Good breakfast. Free parking and WiFi. Good place to stay when visiting friends or attractions. First night had room to myself for £32 then girlfriend joined for an extra £20. Can't go wrong really. Will be staying again.

This hotel is a joke and is the worst place we have ever stayed! Firstly you cannnot check in until after 5pm! The only place I've ever known to do this. Then when we did eventually get in, they had no record of our booking and no room for us as they were full even though they took my debit... More

Without being too critical with this review, I will say that this guest house is only good if you want to get your head down for the night and nothing more. I booked this guesthouse over the weekend via LateRooms.com knowing full well that for £52.00 a night, I wasn't expecting a silver service by any stretch of the imagination.... More

Basic rooms. Clean bedding. Relaxed atmosphere. Ample sized breakfast. Getting refurbed, better late than never. Very good value. Looking forward to going back after the refurb. just hope prices haven't gone up. Parking and wifi (although slow) a bonus

Stayed with my wife and children. Very spacious rooms. Can see recently refurbished, laminate floor etc. Basic furniture but adequate. Not a luxury hotel but family friendly and nice relaxed atmosphere. Clean and fresh. Staff very accommodating. Good breakfast. Other guests pleasant. A traditional bed and breakfast with a family run atmosphere. Fantastic value. Overall a great stay. Wife said... More

Despite the horror reviews me and my friend booked here for 2 nights last month - in all honesty it wasn't that bad. My room was nice, clean bedding and fresh towels. It was just right for our 2 night stay and only £4 taxi ride to St Helens Centre. £24 per night for a roof over my head and... More

I've never left a negative review before, but as a lone female in the area on business, I felt I should advise others of my experience. I managed ten minutes in my room before leaving and heading to the Premier Inn down the road. As a girl from the Black Country I am pretty resilient, love a bargain, and have... More
