Avoid it like the plague. Cold food, dirty rooms, controls missing off the showers, staff on hand 2 hours a day. Disgusting place, I came away with over 200 bed bug bites on me after a 2 night stay. Reported to environmental health as it was so bad. Place needs closing down.

Stayed for a couple of nights, cleanliness and condition of room was below average standard, shelf in bathroom was falling off, toilet seat was broke, shower was useless and not very clean, quite noisy could hear the other guests in their rooms and windows did not shut correctly. I didn't try the breakfast as had to start early so did... More

I stayed here for 1 night as it was cheap and convenient on passing through, I read the reviews and was a bit worried but, was pleasantly surprised,ok it's not the ritz,if you've got lenny Henry's money then sstop at premier Inn, but this place was clean comfortable with friendly staff, very good shower and a decent breakfast too, only... This is by far one of my worst experiences in a hotel in my entire life. Room was quite dirty, the key for the room was useless as did not match the room door, so to have dinner we had to take valuables. I saw breakfast sausages ready on the pan when we arrived the day before about at 19.00...... More

Awful place, worst I've ever been in my life. Ended up sleeping in the car after being woken up in the middle of the night (2am) by bed bugs walking on me. Place was infested with these little things. The room had serious cleanliness issues. The whole place was tatty and not looked after. I wasn't charged and left the... More

We had booked 4 nights here but only stayed one. The place doesn't look bad from the photos, but didn't match our expectations when we arrived. An old nursing home, the house was run down and a bit dour, needing a lot of TLC to bring it up to even a basic level. It is currently up for sale. Our... More

I spent a week at the hotel. The Room wasn't cleaned during my stay although the bin was emptied. Biggest let down was the BED BUGS. Beware. Pleasant staff but let down by cleanliness and the BED BUGS. The place is cheap but that doesn't mean that it should not be clean or be infested by bed bugs. Disappointed and... More

For so many bad reviews I read on parkview it's really good value for money. And I've read a few saying people sit in all day it's a b&b not a hotel so if your expecting flat screen TV and sky your definitely in the wrong place I'd definitely stay here again because it's just for a place to sleep... For the price we didn't expect much, however the room served its purpose and the breakfast was not bad. The hotel was tired and obviously has lacked investment but you get what you pay for. The staff were helpful enough and I didn't expect breakfast for the price - quad room for £70, but there was plenty of hot drinks... More
