This must be the worst place I have ever stayed. It was like a squat, dirty, very dated decor, furniture and awful TV. Staff not helpful. Breakfast was a joke, went out to Frankie and Bennys the following morning. Would have left before the first night, but couldn't get anywhere else. A nightmare stay.

I stayed here whilst having a night out in the town and while the place was reasonably clean, it looked very dated. Though it was only £25 a night to be fair. The single room was very small too and had a shared bathroom. Luckily it was a non football fan next door so they used it while I was... More

Good place to stay. After ringing with time of arrival everything went to plan. Big basic rooms, clean and great value. Was going to book budget room but a bit small so went for the en-suite. You get what you pay for. A quiet friendly place. Not sure why some other reviews are so negative. Good basic breakfast. Free parking... More

We booked and paid, but did not stay. This was supposed to be a stopover en route to Bath from Ireland. Irish Ferries notified us about 36 hours before that our ferry had been cancelled and we would now be on a later ferry that only docked at Holyhead at midnight, not midafternoon. I immediately called the contact number for... More

Customer service was barely OK. I did not even get a greeting. After showing them the confirmation details, she could not find my booking, but agreed to give me a room for what I had booked. They had hand written sign up saying they charged an extra pound for all card transactions that was not mentioned on the late rooms... More

Dear customer. As this was a very late booking sometimes we don't get confirmation till its too late, but we endeavour to accommodate all our guests needs. Concerning our visa card charge thus is what we are charged by the banks and unfortunately have to pass it onto the customer. Our single are indeed small and basic but this is... More

Stayed here to visit some friends that lived in the area, it is basic and it is a B&B, don't expect miracles. If you want to stay somewhere very affordable for the night, then this is your place. Clean room, bed and bathroom. We did have a table lamp but there was no plug socket nearby (which was humorous). There... More

I don't want to waste my time writing about this dark, dirty and dingy hotel. Fawlty Towers would be a hotel they could only but aspire to. I left refusing the breakfast as the smell of dirty grease rising into the room in the morning was horrible. I turned up and had to wait an hour to check in. I... More

Another MALICIOUS review with no grounds. Firstly, we dont use fryers or grease as we only use a griddle with freshly local sourced ingredients. A griddle is a health concious alternative which we prefer. Secondly, we have 4 star rating displayed on our wall for Food hygeine. Thirdly, we request guest to preferably check in after 5pm as we are... More

One towel given for use between two adults, one table lamp on floor (no table) and no plug to reach. Ceiling light not working, left us with one other tiny table light in a family sized room (couldn't even see to read). No milk supplied for tea making facilities (only cream for coffee which curdled the drink anyway) so had... More

We generally only leave one towel in a room for single occupancy as guest do steal them. Further towels and tea/coffee are available on request. Bulbs do occasionally go at the most inconvenient time and this cannot be forecast. Furthermore, due to revised Health and Safety regulations, bulbs are classed as electrical equipment and must only be changed by a... More
