Cant understand why this hotel has had so many negative reviews-people must have paid a fortune and expected the Ritz!. The room we had was just right(308) the young staff were very friendly and always paid attention to our 15month old daughter(Which she loved) The restaurant food was good and the highlight was the Spa and Leisure facilities which were... more

My husband and I stayed at the moorside grange, part for business part for pleasure, we ate a the restaurant the selection was good, five * food, really good atmosphere, staff excellent. We did have to change rooms as the first had a problem with the cold ( and it was snowing very heavily) the second room was perfect, hot... more

Got our deal through Classic Britain and what great value it was. The hotel is in a great location, the staff were brilliant, the food was fantastic and the whole feeling to the hotel was superb. Did not get chance to use the superb leisure facilities but will do next time.I would highly recommend this hotel. The only downside we... more

When my husband and I fancy a relaxing break we head to Mooride Grange. Stunning location, attentive staff, good food and a super leisure centre. I find it a little strange that the three previous reviews had all stayed in the same room!!! more

We'd booked the hotel as a little get away for the two of us on a super cheap deal of £90.00 for two nights B&B. On arrival at the hotel, the staff were helpful and polite and we were given room 314. We went up to the room and straight back down again, the room had an awful room, it... more

Best things first.....cant fault location, then again the hotel did not create the landscape! The reception staff were welcoming, having to fight through the crowded bar to get to the lifts/stairs was not a good start to finding the room....room 314 ironically....what awaited us was something from a hotel sitcom, I know the hotel does Fawlty Towers themed weekends, but... more

Room 314 has to have the worst view of any room of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Bricking it up would have improved it. All I could see was the roof of other parts of the hotel. The location is fantastic. It really couldn't be better. The food is good although they were missing ingredients to some of... more

Just returned after a four day break. After reading some of the reviews didn't know what to expect. So we were delighted when we arrived and received friendly service straight away. Went to our rooms which although didn't have a view were clean and comfortable. You do get plenty of beautiful views when exploring the area. The swimming pool was... more
