Staying at this Travelodge, was well worth the money, clean comfy plenty of space in the room and bathroom was extremely clean. Service very good., and right next door to a Toby Restaurant. Close enough for the NEC.

Have we fallen asleep from the life we know where Travelodges are soulless boxes on industrial estates and awoken in a dream world where the Travelodge is perfectly situated just diagonally opposite a petrol station, ten minutes' walk from a Tesco Express and - wait for it - linked to a pub with great beer (The Toby Carvery) by a... Hotel was fine, very clean and efficient. However, my wife was kept awake by staff and guests talking very loudly in the corridors throughout the night. Not what you expect in a hotel. Also, the pillows are ridiculously hard.

Plenty of free parting but can get busy and full. If you do not expect too much for £25/room/night you will not be disappointed. Yes the room is a trifle beaten-up but it is clean, the beds are comfortable and most things work, including the TV. The TV is on a wire leach gives a clue as to the clientele... More

Hotel grimy, unwelcoming, room unclean, maintenance poor, bedding too thin, staff unfriendly. Ended up leaving at 2am to return home as couldn't stay another minute. Room too cold and only positive thing was that it was centrally located and would have been ideal for the business meeting I had to attend, had I actually been able to sleep that night!

We stayed here for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) and couldn't fault the hotel. We were looking for a hotel close to Bournville as we were visiting family and this was the cheapest one I could find within a 15min drive. We paid £120 for 3 nights. The hotel is right beside a petrol station and the Hilton is just along the... More

We had only a short stay in this Travelodge (eight hours), but enough to enjoy the good quality beds. However, there were lots of little pointers to this lodge needing further work: one lampshade missing in the room, awkwardly sited power point, and a shower control that was missing a part and thus was sharp, not to mention it being... Stayed in enough Travelodges in my time, so kind of know what to expect. Paid 75 English Pounds for a Saturday night which is far more than I'd ever pay for a Travelodge. However, needs must. To be fair, the room was pretty decent, spacious and clean. Only minus points were the one towel for two people and the short... More

The hotel is very convenient for the M5, is reasonably priced and has a Toby Carvery restaurant next door whilst there is a Harvester 2 minutes drive away. The rooms are clean and warm but the corridors can be noisy with late night revellers returning to their rooms.

This is a very shabby hotel. There appeared to be some sort of refurbishment in progress. However this was not reflected in the hotel's pricing. First impressions were not good. Our room was tired looking. In particular, the furniture was tatty and in urgent need to replacement. Whilst the overall cleanliness of the room was reasonable , we had to... More
