We stayed here for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) and couldn't fault the hotel. We were looking for a hotel close to Bournville as we were visiting family and this was the cheapest one I could find within a 15min drive. We paid £120 for 3 nights. The hotel is right beside a petrol station and the Hilton is just along the... More

We had only a short stay in this Travelodge (eight hours), but enough to enjoy the good quality beds. However, there were lots of little pointers to this lodge needing further work: one lampshade missing in the room, awkwardly sited power point, and a shower control that was missing a part and thus was sharp, not to mention it being... Stayed in enough Travelodges in my time, so kind of know what to expect. Paid 75 English Pounds for a Saturday night which is far more than I'd ever pay for a Travelodge. However, needs must. To be fair, the room was pretty decent, spacious and clean. Only minus points were the one towel for two people and the short... More

The hotel is very convenient for the M5, is reasonably priced and has a Toby Carvery restaurant next door whilst there is a Harvester 2 minutes drive away. The rooms are clean and warm but the corridors can be noisy with late night revellers returning to their rooms.

This is a very shabby hotel. There appeared to be some sort of refurbishment in progress. However this was not reflected in the hotel's pricing. First impressions were not good. Our room was tired looking. In particular, the furniture was tatty and in urgent need to replacement. Whilst the overall cleanliness of the room was reasonable , we had to... More

We needed to find somewhere to stay near Redditch for a family funeral. We know the adjacent hotel as we've had meals in there on several occasions. We looked around the area and finally settled on the Travelodge. We had worried about it being noisy as it's next to a busy A road. We needn't have worried, it is well... More

Its a Travel Lodge - and for that you expect a reasonable room for a fair price. And that's what we got. This particular Travel Lodge has not yet been updated to the new standard, and that does show and I have reflected this in the 4 rather than 5 star rating.... It does feel a little tired and whilst... More

Our reception was warm and welcoming. Public areas and corridors pleasant and fresh smelling. The great improvement in furnishings and decoration in bedrooms makes for a much more comfortable stay. The large bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a spacious room with comfortable beds and enough pillows. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. The shower was powerful and the water was hot. The room was very clean. We enjoyed a meal at the carvery.
