Booked this Travelodge for one night as it was near the festival we were going to. The hotel rooms were decent, couldn't fault the room. It was convenient there was a pub next door too. The staff were lovely and delivered excellent customer service. My only complaint was the noise. When trying to sleep there were distractions throughout the night.... More

This travelodge is in a different vein to the usual, with styling and decor which is more like a home than a hotel. As usual, the bed was incredibly comfy and the room was really clean with plenty of space. My room was on the top floor and had velux windows, which gave it some character. I also cannot fault... Stayed 2 nights at this Travelodge. Greeted by a lovely, bubbly young lady, Lizzie who was more than helpful and very informative. Good size room and we could open the window which was a plus as it was quite warm in the room. Great night's sleep, bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the Ladybird pub own the car park and to... More

Stayed one night .... And glad that's all it was. Although I sound fussy, it was tired and not thoroughly cleaned. My son got into the makeup bed to turn over and was faced with used chewing gum stuck to the wall. That freaked him out so we pulled the bed away from the wall. Only to see that the... More

Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Stayed for the night as a base for going to Edgbaston which worked out fine. Close enough to be convenient far enough away to be cheaper than city centre.

We have stayed here many times since leaving South Birmingham for the Highlands of Scotland in January 2013. Its the perfect place to spend a week or two when visiting family and friends and is the only budget chain that we can take our dogs to. There is a good Indian restaurant (Zinga) and a great Pub (the Ladybird) next... More

We had a very friendly welcome on arrival and were given Room 20. There were 3 of us staying in the room and the receptionist came with us to make up the third bed. The room initally looked clean and tidy but afterwards my wife found a comb with hairbands and hair attached to it underneath the desk on the... More

tired decor, room not cleaned properly, bed uncomfortable, poor value for £80. Convenient location but noisy car park outside. Staff inexperienced and not overly attentive. Use the Bromsgrove premier inn if you can.

With Travelodge you get what one generally gets what is expected - CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP - sometimes everything but he price is cheap! At Bromsgrove, the mould is broken, really comfortable, nice furniture, and a big bathroom
