Booked a winter warmer deal and Everything was fabulous, the staff were courteous and couldn't do enough. Paid extra 'last minute' £9 for a front facing view and was well worth it-beautiful views across the town and mountains beyond. The 3 course meal included in the deal was excellent, great choice, as was the breakfast - just lovely. We booked... More

We booked for 4 guests for 2 nights at the Easter break. Room was nice but had cups, slippers and coffee missing....no big deal , but not very professional. The afternoon tea was pleasant but some of the waiters might benefit from a bit more training The breakfast was tasty ,but way too crowded. Nice location and an impressive building.

My wife booked a dinner, bed and breakfast break as a birthday treat for me and arranged a massage in the spa. It was a busy holiday weekend which might explain some of the following. We were allocated a disabled room - I hope this wasn’t a reflection on us as we’re active pensioners and I’ve completed many Marathons and... More

I stayed here in April 2015 as I was interested in seeing Andy Murray and his fiancé Kim Sears being married at Dunblane Cathedral. The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard and the communal areas are pleasant and comfortable with loads of room for guests. The dining room was large, pleasant and the staff were attentive, helpful and... More

I stayed here with my Mum using an itison voucher, after reading some of the previous reviews I was unsure what to expect. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by lovely reception staff and a free chocolate and walnut cookie. Our room was in the main part of the hotel, lovely spacious room, very clean, nice view... More

Recently stayed after purchasing a voucher. Paid £59 for a cream tea, bed and breakfast. Fab value for money! We also had a meal in The Kailyard in the evening, delicious! Only down side is that drinks are a bit expensive, £8.50 for a cocktail!

I have stayed here before both on business and whilst visiting Scotland with my wife and found this place ideal.....but on this occasion it wasn't. Now because of the school holidays the place was rammed and it felt a bit like a cattle market. Although a three checking desks were ope the was a long wait (purely down to the... More

Mt wife and I have stayed at The Hydro on several occasions in the past but this was our first for a few years. We booked for one night which included an afternoon tea which was very nice. The hotel is still a very relaxing place to visit and the town of Dunblane is very close and a walk through... More
