We chose this as our B&B base for the Commonwealth Games. The hotel is huge! Our 3 ground-floor rooms were in the Stirling Wing annex, overlooking a large, but nicely landscaped car park to the rear. The rooms were small, but light, clean and very well appointed: they had both a bath & shower, robes, slippers, hair-drier, iron and ironing... More

Overall my 2 night break was very enjoyable. Beds a bit uncomfy but they cant suit eveybodies ideal bed. I had dinner both nights and the meal was very good quality and great value for money. Wine was overpriced at £7-75 a glass.

We had an overnight stay booked for my sister's 72nd birthday and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Food, room and facities were super but what made this experince really special was the attitude of the staff. Every member of staff we spoke to went the extra mile to ensure our stay was a delight. I cannot praise them all... More

We took our family for a treat to stay at the Dunblane Hydro. We all had a great time, facilities for the children were good and the the hotel offered luxury for our parents, who enjoyed the food and ambience. Only drawback would be the breakfast options for vegetarians, no mushrooms, or meat free sausages. Surprising, as there was a... More

Not the standard I would expect from Hilton. A large imposing hotel from the driveway, however once inside it is very dated. The rooms are small & basic, which is ok for a one night stay. The beds however are in need of replacing as very uncomfortable. The hotel has a leisure club and beauty spa which is not accessible... More

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 20 years but not in the last 10,we thought it would be a good base to visit the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.Firstly the building and setting is impressive as always, this is the first time we stayed since it became Doubletree by Hilton rather than one of their...
