Crutherland House is close to East Kilbride but gives you the feeling of being in the countryside. It’s about 15 minutes drive from the M74; you need a car to get there. A lovely traditional hotel with personal friendly service. The reception staff couldn't do enough to help and treated you like you were important to them. My mother and I had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. We did heaps of tourism during the day and arrived back to friendly staff and quiet, peaceful room. The rate was excellent too - £89 including breakfast, which was truly vast. Great break. more
