We made our reservation with a bit of trepidation, having never stayed at a Premier Inn before and unfamiliar with the chain that does not exist in USA. But we had no other option because we were visiting family, so we booked our rooms.

What a pleasant surprise! The hotel was tidy & clean, the beds comfortable, nice shower, 2 pull-out trundles for kids to sleep on, Wi-fi available in the room and a kind and friendly staff. No phones or Air Conditioning, but in Scotland AC usually isn't needed. Hair dryer and fan in the room, as well as coffee fixings. Breakfast was served at the pub next door and was reasonably priced, the food was good and the service friendly.

One thing to consider is ensuring you have a non-smoking room and be sure to book upstairs if you can - minimizes noise of people walking above you.

Don't know what other Premier Inn's are like, but Nestor Toll Premier Inn is a great budget hotel. more
