Of it's type I think this restaurant is above average, it has a nice atmosphere and good value food. Not too easy to find but well worth looking for. A really good choice for all the family what ever their age.

We arrived without a booking but were accommodated despite them being busy. The food was good as was the service with the prices being pretty reasonable. It is a 'gastropub' so don't expect too much from the menu. I would definitely visit again.

Went for a family meal whilst on a long weekend in the area. Good service, good grub (with a good vairety for the kids, the veggie Mrs and me the meat eater), and a nice pint all at a reasonable price. Would go again.
