I brought the wife along to a conference at Byron Bay and we decided to stay at the resort. What a choice! The Byron is simply wonderful, the rooms are well appointed and luxurious and nestled in a slice of the rainforest located only minutes from the beach. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. Together we took the rainforest... More

Byron at Byron was our first stop on our Honeymoon "down under." What a way to start our trip to Australia. The hotel is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed at. Located 5 minutes from town, the hotel seems cut off from the rest of the world (in a good way). Property: The properly is fantastic.... More

My first time here and I loved it! The staff are all so professional, yet extremely friendly and go out of their way to make people feel at home - they are to be commended The place is a little way from the beach but relaxing around the pool side with a few drinks was bliss - the setting delightful

Stayed 2 nites with group of old university mates. Second stay for me. John and Lyn Parchet, the managers, are a constant but unimposing friendly presence. The golf course across the road has been substantially improved and is terrific. Long walk to beach, which is a setback, but its charm, friendly staff and quiet rain forest location are its strong... I was lucky enough to have a few nights at The Byron last week - the second time I have stayed and it won't be the last. It is a divine place. The staff are all so professional, yet extremely friendly and go out of their way to make people feel at home. The food is delicious and the rooms so... More

I visited the Byron at Byron last week for a getaway by myself... What an amazing place! I felt so welcome from the moment I arrived - the staff were all exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt very comfortable being there by myself. The pool area is gorgeous and I spent hours and hours there reading... It... More

The resort is well laid out, the service is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Dinner and lunch food is very good but the breakfast lets them down. I would suggest an egg chef that cook eggs to order might sort this out

Looking for something special this is the place to stay, exemplary in every aspect of accommodation, food and service. Especially enjoyed the long walks after breakfast through the grounds to the pristine beach. For a romantic retreat, cocktails by the pool and devious food go on and treat yourself. Second visit for us 7 years apart, won't be so long... More

Very nice getaway! Far from the madding crowd - no "schoolies" for miles! Good food and very attentive service. Nice big, clean suites and a short walk to a lovely beach. Only two suggestions for management: 1. TV reception/picture is very poor, no HD 2. Put an egg cooking station on at breakfast, it will dramatically improve the breakfast buffet

Stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time. Set in the rainforest it was great to have so much wildlife on your doorstep. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times, nothing too much trouble. We had a one bedroom superior suite on upper level, which was superb, and very well equipped and the bed was...
