Finding it really difficult to find accommodation for Easter long weekend.... we were extremely lucky to have grabbed the last room at Suffolk Park Hotel for a very reasonable price considering what other places charge over Bluesfest in Byron. The manger Kaye was an absolute star and couldn't have been more helpful. It really makes a difference if staff are... More

They say you can tell a pub by its parmigiana: so that's what I ordered and I got a fair size chunk of good chicken well bathed in its Parma toppings... I would have given it an 8 out of ten except that the salad that was on the plate was much like yesterday's leftovers. Being Easter Saturday that might... More

I stopped for a quick meet and greet with family that live local - easy access off the freeway without going into Byron. Prices are over $6 for any drinks which is a little disappointing. Service while there was ok, although it wasn't busy. Nice outdoor seating area which would not take much to fill

Having decided to meet up with family at Suffolk Park Hotel, a shared lunch was the order of the day. So my cousin bought fish and chips which comes with 2 decent size pieces of fish a handful of chips and some salad, all for the princely sum of $18, I almost choked on my fish but it was good... I wanted a nice 3 star motel for an overnight stay near Byron. This motel was disappointing and I would give it Two stars at most. The room was smelly and everything needs updating. As a non smoker on a hot night had to have windows open with no aircon amd people were smoking which blew into the room. They... More

This seems to be The Park Hotel in Suffolk Park that we have eaten in many times ...I cannot understand why so few people have reviewed it! This is a little (ok large, for such a small little place) oasis of great food in the middle of Suffolk Park/Tallow Beach. Im quite loath to recommend it in case this wee... More

My family and I come to Byron Bay every year for a few weeks but this year decided to stay just outside the the lovely Suffolk Park for Easter. During our stay, we would dine with friend quite regularly at the Hotel. Always found the staff to be kind and helpful and the food to be 'fantastic'. Every night we... More

I've stayed here and eaten here often - only because I have friends close by. It's very average pub food and for breakfast there's a great bakery next door. The motel rooms are very tired. Service is hit and miss. Staff pleasant usually but management is variable.

Stayed in Suffolk park for a week, and ate here twice for dinner and once for lunch. Food was always great. It gets very busy so get in early. This place is not pretentious. Not pretending to be something it isn't. Good value and great quality pub grub. We tried the hot stone steak, which was great (although a little... More

Kids meals were very good quality and reasonably priced. Vegetarian nachos was huge and tasty. Paella was tasteless and uninspiring. Smoking area dominates eating section. Some staff lovely, others had a bit of an attitude thing going on. Over priced main meals but the meals did come out quickly and the sausages with mash was excellent.
