Great hotel, great location, great holiday. Hotel was situated in the island`s main night spot but we were never kept awake at night. We were in room 1205 which over looked the pool and one of the restaurants, great views. Rooms were large, clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly. We spent our... more

The hotel was definately five star, the resort was ok if you were a student, the bars and restuarants were more for people on a budget. the beach which belongs to the hotel is man made and very small so we did not venture their at all. Very expensive for drinks and food in the hotel five euros for a... more

We just returned from a week at the Intercontinental in Malta. Great value for the money in the EU. Stayed in a suite on the 13th floor with a panoramic view that was one half the price of the hotel in Amsterdam where we also stayed on our trip. Being that high up there was a perfect breeze so that... more

Recently spent two weeks on holidays in this Hotel. The rooms were large & well appointed, the maids on our floor were helpful & friendly but there were quite a few problems which seem to suggest management issues are not up to scratch. Our Check-in time was to be 4pm, but this time came & went. Some of our party... more

Excellent location in the middle of the main hot spots in the St Julian Bay, Paceville and withing walking distance to Spinolla bay, plenty of restaurants around, if you are a part animal this is tha place to go. However you will still hear the music in the background in your room every night. I have a very light sleep... more

Our overall experince was positive but it is by no means a high end hotel. We arrived on the afternoon of Friday and we decided to have a snack at the pool bar on the 10th floor. The kitchen was just about to close but they allowed us to order. My sandwhich was fine but my partners salad was not... more

After becoming armchair experts after having consulted just about every review on hotels based bn Sliema and St Juliens, we finally decided upon the Intercontinental and I am so glad we did. Travelling in February, the weather could not be predicted so we decided upon a Club level room so we would have indoor alternatives ie Club lounge access, should... more

Me and 12 others, including a young child, a teenager, parents, drinkers, culturists and 3 birthdays (2 the same), stayed at club level on the 13th floor. The rooms were all very nice and well equipped, with air conditioning and tv with various different languages. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and the shower door always dripped onto... more

Just came back from the IC Malta where I spent a week with my best friend. We booked a club room on one of the executive floors and the service was just amazing. The room itself was really great, well-furbished and quiet, overlooking the outdoor pool. Two queen beds with fantastic pillows ;-), big shower place and separate bathtub in... more

My husband, 6-month-old son and I spent one fabulous week at Intercontinental Malta. We booked with Interval International a one-bedroom suite at Diamond Resort – a “hotel-in-a-hotel” inside the Intercontinental (floor 5 to 9 of north pavillon). Based on the previous reviews on TA, and having a small child with me who needed a quiet atmosphere, I phoned the Interconti... more
