Requested tea & coffee facilities - not possible, Shower dirty and shower head broken, view from room window was a small back yard. Breakfast was non edible and disgusting. Was told by hotel staff that the breakfast staff were not directly employed by hotel - no excuse! Very noisy. Swimming pool was closed due to vandalism?? more

I was staying at this hotel back in 2002 when I was travelling with EF language travel. Worth noticing for travelleres, this is a hotel where EF have alot of students staying and the sound volume is there after. This stuff are kind polite and friendly. they made my holiday I'm 60 years old but young at heard. This is the forth time I have been to this hotel and am coming back In September... hotels in malta are generally very bad, without any comfort (subtract two stars). i consider bernard hotel as an average malta hotel. if u prepare yourself u can bare to stay in the average malta hotel for a week, otherwise u will be very angry. rooms are small, u consider self a lucky one if u get a clean room... more

We were on a low-budget honeymoon for 2 weeks in may 2006. We exoected the hotel to be 'quite ok, with quite a bit noice'.
