We stayed for 5 days at the Argento hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. I would rate it 4* as there were some small inconveniences. + Location, sleeping comfort, breakfast - Wifi Location: very good. At Saint Julian's, a busy place with a lot of pubs (lot of youngsters partying in the main boulevard at only 100m of the... More

When I enter a Maltese hotel I always feel a bit sick for the first 5 minutes because they all seem to use the same kind of really bad smelling desinfection stuff. After 5 minutes one`s nose get used to it and it does not bother so much. Reception was effective and friendly. Room was very basic and TV channel... More

Good - spotlessly clean, rooms well, if simply appointed and had a balcony. Bad - no bar service the first night of our stay, despite a member of staff stood watching the football with the guests?!? Breakfast poor. Non-existent water pressure in the showers. Was never asked at check out how my stay was. Would I return? No...

We were given a room on the 5th floor, which was a reasonable size and had tea and coffee facilities. It seemed fine, but the water pressure in the bathroom was so weak, it wasn't possible to have a shower as the tap water diverter wouldn't remain in the position diverting the water to the shower head. Tea was also... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We booked it because of the good reviews and good price. We were very happy there. Location is very good, in central St Julian but a little bit away from the noise so it's a bit more quiet. Staff in the reception was nice. Lobby looks good. Room was very nice and... More

I and my partner stayed in this hotel for a short break. My partner had booked online - but mistakenly booked for one person. Prior to getting to the hotel I rang them to change it to two people and they said it was all fine. However, when arriving they did not have the alternations so still assumed it was... More

We booked this hotel via Low Cost Holidays, and it proved to be worthy of its four stars. The location is ideal - a side street in St Julians but close to the main road for bus connections. The rooms were well-appointed and the restaurant service faultless. The half board option proved to be a wise choice since there was... More

I stayed here at the Argento Hotel for a week and would highly recommend it. It is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the Spinola Bay area where there are lots of bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop almost right outside the hotel which serves buses to Valletta, Rabat & Mdina and Cirkewwa - ferry... More

The breakfasts were superb with a great choice. Hotel is in a great location for shops.bars and restaurants. The only negative is poor soundproofing between the rooms... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2015 via mobile

My fiancé and I stayed for a week in late February. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Malta. We booked full board which wasn't really needed as there were plenty of restaurants in the area and the hotel menu for lunch was the same as dinner, which was a little confusing! Breakfast was...
