Rooms are fine and if you get a room with a balcony and a view, then it’s golden. Hotel lobby is inviting and the outdoor poolside areas are gorgeous besides the good quality/elaborate breakfast. But as for the hotel service and location, where do I start - we have never seen such a big hotel lacking on so many fronts... More

Hotel looks like it wasn't updated since it was a Ramada. No air conditioning. Lock on door didn't work correctly. Food not up to par. The free hotel shuttle into town was great. Drivers very helpful.

OH GOODNESS.....where to begin.... We got to our floor and the carpets were disgusting and the halls smelled musty and it was HOT!! Got to our room which the carpets are stained and worn and the room was HOT! We turned on the supposed air conditioning and took a nap only to wake up drenched in sweat!! Called downstairs to... We stayed here for 3 nights before our 10 night cruise departing from Monte Carlo. I booked it on the Marriott website after checking out alternative hotels on Expedia, Orbitz, etc. This is a VERY expensive part of the world to visit. For the money, this was a great hotel choice versus the many $500-$600 options n Monte Carlo. Our... More

I only stayed here for 1 night, but it was on par with my expectations. I found the stay pleasant and would take some of the negativity written with a little grain of salt. I had a sea view room on an upper floor which was great.Very picturesque looking out over the hillside, marina, sunrise, etc. The staff were all... More

The Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco is a quite ordinary and out-of-date Marriott hotel!. The interio/hotel need to be renovated (looks like 1962...) and the service level of the staff need to increase too. The room was very clean and the bed ok. Not the best location in respect of central Monte Carlo, difficult to get a taxi... More

Because of some of the negative reviews I read here, we decided to stay one more day in Nice at the Elysee Palace Hotel instead of coming here. We were not pleased with the Elysee Palace Hotel, but it seemed we might run into a similar hotel experience at this hotel. What a mistake. My experiences are as a Gold... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff was some of the best I've experienced. Very helpful, recognized us every day and gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do. They even called to verify we enjoyed their suggestions and most speak great English, which was helpful. The shuttle is very convenient to get... More

The room was clean, the view was incredible, people were friendly. I can't think of anything to complain about. The shuttle service was great for getting into other areas of Monaco, and the bus route was easy and accessible. I found walking around a bit challenging because all of the streets do not run parallel - be sure to ask... More
