We stayed at this Premier Inn over the bank holiday weekend at the end of May. The purpose of this stay was to see a concert at The Stadium of Light. Previous reviews of this hotel say that it is walkable to said venue around 35 minutes. It is a straight road from the hotel to The Stadium of Light... More

This premier inn is so comfortable and quiet. We have stayed time after time when visiting family. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. On one stay a member of the team came down to the room with balloons for my little girl which she was over the moon with. The breakfast is good and there is... More

Comfortable, spacious room and is good value for money. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to and from Stadium of Light. Visited pub next door for food and drink on the first night and had an enjoyable evening.

A friendly stay, it is the staff here who make all the difference. Clean room, good nights sleep. We did not eat breakfast at the restaurant by the hotel as it was expensive, instead we ate for half the price at the Toby Inn (Barnes Park) which is about 3 miles from the hotel.Sunderland is good for a weekend break... Very well positioned just off the A19 and handy for the whole area. This is a very pleasant example of the brand. Unlike some Premier Inns there is a connecting door through to the Brewers Fayre restaurant ,so you dont have to go out in the cold. Well run and very good staff, we would certainly return next time we... More

The receptionist was rude to me and my daughter about our dogs in our vehicle overnight. There were no conditions expressed on this on their website. Mine wasn't the only dogs that were in their carpark and they never made a sound all night. This is the first time I have experienced this at a Premier Inn but I will... More

I've just spent three days at this premier inn in a larger than average family room Very clean and tidy Plenty of secure parking Staff in the hotel were very helpful and informative Made a mistake at breakfast had continental breakfast for both adult and child which was more expensive than the full English. Watch out for the small print

This was an Easter weekend break to visit family and watch football at the Stadium of Light. We have stayed here before and have always found the staff to be very pleasant and eager to help. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds, nice pillows, large tv screen and coffee and tea making facilities. The rooms nearer the main... More
