Rooms excellent and quiet and very friendly helpful staff. The location is right next to the A19 but we heard no traffic noise. The staff were very helpful especially booking a taxi for us which arrived in 3 minutes!

Really disappointed with this premier inn. Booked a twin room for me and my mam and when we arrived we were met with a double bed plus a sofa bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was way too soft! We complained to the receptionist and she told us they didn't have twin bedded rooms. We asked to transfer to... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Our twin rooms are designed to be as flexible as possible which is why they come in different formats. Most feature a super comfy, double or king-size Hypnos bed plus a single sofa bed. We are unable to tell when people are going to make cancellations, and so the room at... More

the premier inn at sunderland a19 has everything you need and expect from a hotel. there is food on site which is good. the showers are hot but not as powerful as many of the other premier inns i've stayed in. the tv doesnt allow a plug in for dvd player which i miss. the rooms are spacious and the... I stayed here for one night last week. The hotel wasn't too difficult to find, though the location didn't seem to be particularly great if one does not posses a car (I don't, fortunately one of those I was with did). The front desk was as welcoming as one would expect from a premier inn: nothing standing out, but all... More

Stayed one night as a family - 2 rooms. Location is good for travellers, although very little locally to do in the evening should that be a priority. Friendly welcome, although all staff had very strong local accents which may be a problem for some (note I am Sunderland born and grew up there). Room was pleasantly decorated, with all... More

Excellent Hotel, great, extremely friendly staff in all departments. We have stayed at this hotel regular over the past 7/8 years and have never found a cause to complain. Rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel is so convenient, just beside the A19, and on one of the main roads into Sunderland town.

I stayed at this hotel whilst contracting over the new year. I had moved here from another chain hotel and was concerned that the extra £7-£10 per night would be wasted money. The answer is that it was worth every penny! The good bits. 1. Car parking - They have it and its free! 2. The bed - SUPERB! (Almost... More

Stayed here Xmas day night and Boxing Day night, as we've found with all premier inns staff are always friendly and polite, our son has various food allergies and the hotel and restaurant staff were great in storing his food in their fridge and also having all food allergy information to hand, we had breakfast each day with duty manager... The complete package in terms of value for money is impossible to beat. The staff were helpful in all respects and did everything with a smile, comfortable clean rooms with tea & coffee plus everything else you need for a one night stay, did the business for us.

We stayed here for 1 night as we were watching a football game at the Stadium of Light. It's not in the centre of Sunderland, it's on a retail park a little isolated but easy to find. We walked to the Stadium which took around 40 minutes but they do have a matchday park & ride service if you don't... More
